CONSISTE EN HACER REACCIONAR UNA MEZCLA DE UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (II) CON UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (III) JUNTO CON TETRACLORURO DE TITANIO Y UN EXCESO DE UNA AMINA TERCIARIA Y UN VEHICULO LIQUIDO E INERTE, PARA OBTENER UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (IV) QUE SE HACE REACCIONAR CON UNA CANTIDAD ESTEQUIOMETRICA DE UNA BASE DE METAL ALCALINO NO NUCLEOFILA Y FUERTE, EN MEZCLA AGITABLE CON VEHICULO LIQUIDO E INERTE PARA OBTENER UN COMPUESTO DE FORMULA (V), QUE OPCIONALMENTE SE HACE REACCIONAR CON UN COMPUESTO COMO SE HA PREPARADO ANTERIORMENTE EN EL QUE R3 ES UN ION DE METAL ALCALINO, CON UNA FUENTE DE PROTONES, PARA OBTENER EL COMPUESTO DE PIRIDOBENZODIAZEPINA DE FORMULA (I).
