Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.保存−安定なヒドロゲル成形品、特にコンタクトレンズを製造する方法であ って、 a)加水分解的に除去しうる側鎖基を含むヒドロゲル成形体を、コンテナー中に 移す工程、 b)ヒドロゲル成形体を含むコンテナーを、塩基性緩衝溶液で満たす工程、 c)コンテナーを閉じる工程、及び d)ヒドロゲル成形体及び塩基性緩衝溶液を含むコンテナーを、少なくとも10 0℃の温度でオートクレーブにかける工程を含み、ここで、オートクレーブにか ける間、加水分解的に除去しうる側鎖基は、実質的に完全に除去され、コンテナ ーの内容物は消毒され、そして塩基性緩衝溶液は、実質的に等張であり、ヒトの 涙液に適合しうるpHである生理学的に許容しうる水性溶液に転換されることを特 徴とする方法。 2.ヒドロゲル成形体が、ポリビニルアルコールから誘導される、請求項1記載 の方法。 3.ヒドロゲル成形体が、水溶性かつ架橋性ポリビニルアルコールから誘導され る、請求項1記載の方法。 4.コンテナーが、パッケージ、特にアルミニウムの封止箔を有するポリプロピ レン製パッケージである、請求項1記載の方法。 5.塩基性緩衝溶液が、主成分として、リン酸1水素塩、リン酸塩、ホウ酸塩又 は炭酸塩類を含む、請求項1記載の方法。 6.塩基性緩衝溶液が、主成分として、リン酸1水素塩及び/又はリン酸塩を含 む、請求項1記載の方法。 7.塩基性緩衝溶液が、pH8〜12の範囲、好適にはpH8.5〜11の範囲、特 にpH9〜10の範囲である、請求項1記載の方法。 8.オートクレーブにかける温度範囲が、101〜150℃の範囲、好適には1 10〜130℃の範囲、特に115〜125℃の範囲である、請求項1記載の方 法。 9.オートクレーブ工程の期間が、約5分〜約18時間の範囲、好適には 約15分〜約8時間の範囲、特に約20分〜約120分の範囲である、請求項1 記載の方法。 10.オートクレーブにかける間に加水分解的に除去しうる側鎖基が、いかなる 毒性生成物も形成しない、請求項1記載の方法。 11.ヒトの目及びヒトの器官と優れた適合性を有する意味において、非−毒性 側鎖基類が、特にアセタート若しくはプロピオナート基又はその混合物を意味す る、請求項11記載の方法。 12.用いられたプレポリマーのPVAの基本構造が、ポリビニルアセタート、 ポリビニルプロピオナート及び/又はその混合物の、0.8〜15モル%、好適 には2〜10モル%、特に5〜10モル%から誘導される側鎖基の量を更に含む 、請求項2又は3記載の方法。 13.オートクレーブ工程後の浸透圧モル濃度が、約220〜約450浸透圧モ ル濃度の範囲、好適には約250〜約400浸透圧モル濃度の範囲、特に約28 0〜約400浸透圧モル濃度の範囲である、請求項1記載の方法。 14.オートクレーブ工程後のpH値が、約pH6〜8の範囲、特に約pH6.8〜7 .6の範囲である、請求項1記載の方法。 15.プレポリマーが、ポリビニルアルコールのヒドロキシル基の数に基づいて 、式(I): (式中、 Rは、8個までの炭素原子を有する低級アルキレンであり、 R1は、水素又は低級アルキルであり、そして R2は、好適には25個までの炭素原子を有する、オレフィン性不飽和の電子 −吸引性で、共重合しうる基である)の単位約0.5〜約80%を含む、少なく とも約2000の平均分子量を有するポリビニルアルコールである、請求項3記 載 の方法。 16.R2が、式R3−CO−(ここで、R3は、2〜24個の炭素原子、好適に は2〜8個の炭素原子、特に2〜4個の炭素原子を有するオレフィン性不飽和の 共重合しうる基である)で示されるオレフィン性不飽和のアシル基である、請求 項15記載の方法。 17.基R2が、式(II): (式中、 qは、ゼロ又は1であり、 R4及びR5は、それぞれ他と独立に、2〜8個の炭素原子を有する低級アルキ レン、6〜12個の炭素原子を有するアリーレン、6〜10個の炭素原子を有す る2価飽和環式脂肪族基、7〜14個の炭素原子を有する、アリーレンアルキレ ン若しくはアルキレンアリーレン、又は13〜16個の炭素原子を有するアリー レンアルキレンアリーレンであり、そして R3は、2〜24個の炭素原子、好適には2〜8個の炭素原子、又は特に2〜 4個の炭素原子を有するオレフィン性不飽和の共重合しうる基である)の基であ る、請求項15記載の方法。 18.加水分解を、ヒドロゲル成形体の一次パッケージ中で実施し、ヒドロゲル 成形体を同時に消毒し、そして生理学的に許容しうる塩濃縮物を得る、請求項1 記載の方法。 19.成形体の特性が、オートクレーブ後にも実質的に変化せずに残る、請求項 1記載の方法。 20.ポリビニルアルコールに基づき、かつ請求項1記載の方法により得ること ができる成形体。 21.コンタクトレンズである、請求項20記載の成形体。 22.ヒドロゲル成形体、特にコンタクトレンズの製造においての、請求項1記 載の方法の用途。 23.等張であり、かつヒトの涙液に適合しうるpHである即時使用可能な水性 溶液中に消毒された成形体を含むアルミニウム封止箔を有するポリプロピレンパ ッケージである、請求項4記載のパッケージ。 24.成形体がコンタクトレンズである、請求項4記載のパッケージ。
