Description
エチレンカーボネート(EC):ガンマ−ブチロラクトン(GBL):エチルメチルカーボネート(EMC):フルオロベンゼン(FB)=15:25:50:10の体積比で混合された混合溶媒100mlにビニレンカーボネート(VC)2mlをさらに添加し、LiPF6を1.0Mの濃度で溶解させて非水系電解液を製造した。
下記表1に示したように非水系電解液の組成を変化させたことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で463450角形電池を製造した。
表1に示したように、非水系電解液の組成を本願発明の前記一具現例または他の具現例によるリチウム電池の非水系電解液組成範囲に該当しないように変化させたことを除いては、実施例1と同じ方法で463450角形電池を製造した。
実施例1ないし実施例9及び比較例1ないし比較例10の463450角形電池それぞれを公称容量780mAhで160mAの電流で電圧が4.2Vになるまで定電流−定電圧条件で2時間30分間充電してから30分間放置した。次いで、160mAの電流で電圧が3.0Vに到達するまで定電流の条件で放電させた。このような過程を反復して充放電サイクル寿命を測定した。前記あらゆる測定は25℃で行われた。
実施例1〜8及び比較例1〜8の463450角形電池それぞれを公称容量780mAhで160mAの電流で電圧が4.2Vになるまで定電流−定電圧条件で2時間30分間充電してから30分間放置した後、85℃の高温チャンバ内に放置した。
図3は、実施例1及び比較例1の463450角形電池それぞれを公称容量780mAhで160mAの電流で電圧が4.2Vになるまで定電流−定電圧条件で3時間充電した後、150℃オーブンで1時間放置しながら電池電圧及び温度の変化を測定した結果を示す。チャンバ内の温度は5℃/minの昇温速度で150℃まで昇温した。
実施例1〜5及び7〜9並びに比較例1〜4及び6〜10の463450角形電池それぞれを公称容量780mAhで160mAの電流で電圧が4.2Vになるまで定電流−定電圧条件で3時間充電し、25℃で30分間放置した。次いで、160mAの電流で電圧が3.0Vになるまで定電流の条件で−20℃のチャンバ内で放電した。
Claims (14)
- 炭素材料を主材料としてなるアノードと、
リチウムを挿脱できる化合物を主材料としてなるカソードと、
前記カソードと前記アノードとの間に介在されたセパレータと、
非水系溶媒に電解質溶質が溶解された電解液と、を含み、
前記非水系溶媒は、エチレンカーボネート8〜15体積%、γ−ブチロラクトン10〜35体積%、ジメチルカーボネート、ジエチルカーボネート、エチルメチルカーボネート、メチルプロピルカーボネート、エチルプロピルカーボネート及びメチルブチルカーボネートよりなる群から選択された一つ以上の線形カーボネート35〜65体積%、及びフルオロベンゼン8〜15体積%を含む混合溶媒及び前記混合溶媒100体積部を基準にビニレンカーボネート1ないし3体積部を含むことを特徴とするリチウム電池。 - 前記混合溶媒は、プロピレンカーボネート、1,2−ブチレンカーボネート、2,3−ブチレンカーボネート、1,2−ペンテンカーボネート、及び2,3−ペンテンカーボネートよりなる群から選択された一つ以上を8〜15体積%さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウムを挿脱できる化合物は、組成式LixMO2またはLiyM2O4(ここで、Mは遷移元素であり、0≦x≦1及び0≦y≦2)と表示されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウムを挿脱できる化合物はサルファまたはサルファ含有化合物であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウムを挿脱できる化合物はLiCoO2、LiMnO2、LiNiO2、LiCrO2、及びLiMn2O4よりなる群から選択されたいずれか一つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記電解質溶質はLiPF6、LiBF4、LiClO4、LiCF3SO3、LiC4F9SO3、LiN(CF3SO2)2及びLiAsF6よりなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記電解質溶質の濃度は0.8〜2.5Mであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のリチウム電池。
- 炭素材料を主材料としてなるアノードと、
リチウムを挿脱できる化合物を主材料としてなるカソードと、
前記カソードと前記アノードとの間に介在されたセパレータと、
非水系溶媒に電解質溶質が溶解された電解液と、を含み、
前記非水系溶媒は、エチレンカーボネート8〜15体積%、γ−ブチロラクトン10〜35体積%、ジメチルカーボネート、ジエチルカーボネート、エチルメチルカーボネート、メチルプロピルカーボネート、エチルプロピルカーボネート及びメチルブチルカーボネートよりなる群から選択された一つ以上の線形カーボネート35〜65体積%、及びフルオロベンゼン8〜15体積%を含む混合溶媒及び前記混合溶媒100体積部を基準にビニレンカーボネート1ないし3体積部及びビニルスルホン、イソオキサゾールまたはこれらの混合物0.05ないし0.5体積部を含むことを特徴とするリチウム電池。 - 前記混合溶媒はプロピレンカーボネート、1,2−ブチレンカーボネート、2,3−ブチレンカーボネート、1,2−ペンテンカーボネート、及び2,3−ペンテンカーボネートよりなる群から選択された一つ以上を8〜15体積%さらに含むことを特徴とする請求項8に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウムを挿脱できる化合物は、組成式LixMO2またはLiyM2O4(ここで、Mは遷移元素であり、0≦x≦1及び0≦y≦2)と表示されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウムを挿脱できる化合物はサルファまたはサルファ含有化合物であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記リチウムを挿脱できる化合物はLiCoO2、LiMnO2、LiNiO2、LiCrO2、及びLiMn2O4よりなる群から選択されたいずれか一つ以上であることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記電解質溶質はLiPF6、LiBF4、LiClO4、LiCF3SO3、LiC4F9SO3、LiN(CF3SO2)2及びLiAsF6よりなる群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のリチウム電池。
- 前記電解質溶質の濃度は0.8〜2.5Mであることを特徴とする請求項8に記載のリチウム電池。
