Description
本出願は、2005年12月14日に、Gebara及びその他の者によって出願された、「信号の干渉を削減するための方法及び装置(Method and System for Reducing Signal Interference)と題された、米国非仮特許出願第(U.S. Nonprovisional Patent Application Serial No.)11/302,896号の優先権の利益を主張すると共に部分継続出願である。
本発明に係る発明は、通信装置内の二つ以上の通信チャンネル間又は二つ以上の通信要素間で発生するEMI又はクロストークのような信号干渉の補償をサポートする。干渉を補償することは、信号品質を向上し、通信帯域幅又は情報を伝送する能力を高めることができる。
Claims (25)
- 第2の通信信号によって第1の通信信号に課せられた干渉を削減するための方法であって、
前記第2の通信信号のサンプルを得るステップと、
信号処理パラメータと第1および第2の通信信号の間のチャンネル結合をモデルにするフィルタに基づいて干渉補償信号を生成するステップと、
前記生成された干渉補償信号を前記第1のチャンネルに適用することによって前記干渉信号を削減するステップと、
前記信号処理パラメータを変更するステップと、
前記削減された干渉の変化が前記信号処理パラメータに起因すると特定するステップと、
前記パラメータに起因すると考えられた変化に基づいて前記信号処理パラメータを調整するステップと
を備える通信信号の干渉削減方法。 - 前記信号処理パラメータを変更するステップは前記信号処理パラメータに摂動を加えるステップ、及び前記信号処理パラメータを調整するステップは前記信号処理パラメータを取り出すステップを含む請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 前記信号処理パラメータを調整するステップは、改善された干渉補償に合うように信号処理パラメータの少なくとも1つを最適化するかまたはフィルタの搬送周波数を調整するステップを備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 前記第2の通信信号によって前記第1の通信信号に課された干渉は、第2の通信信号から第1の通信信号にエネルギーを移動するという影響を含み、
前記信号処理パラメータを調整するステップは前記影響の変化を補償するステップを備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。 - 少なくとも1つの第1の通信信号及び第2の通信信号は無線信号に関係つけられる請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 前記干渉を削減するステップは、ハンドヘルドセルラ通信デバイスの受信を向上するステップを備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 前記信号処理パラメータを変更するステップは、前記信号処理パラメータを増やすステップを備え、
前記削減された干渉の変化が前記パラメータに起因すると特定するステップは、前記信号処理パラメータの増加に応答して削減された干渉が増えたか或いは減ったかを判断し、
前記信号処理パラメータを調整するステップは、さらに、
前記信号処理パラメータの増加に応答して干渉の削減が減少されたと判断されたときに、前記信号処理パラメータをさらに増加するステップと、
前記信号処理パラメータの増加に応答して干渉の削減が増加されたと判断されたときに、前記信号処理パラメータを減少するステップとを備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。 - 前記生成するステップは、複数の信号処理パラメータをもったサンプルの処理に応じて干渉補償信号を生成するステップを備え、
前記信号処理パラメータを変更するステップは、少なくとも二つの複数の信号処理パラメータを摂動させるステップを備え、
前記信号処理パラメータを調整するステップは、少なくとも二つの複数の信号処理パラメータを最適化するステップを備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。 - 前記二つの複数の信号処理パラメータを摂動させるステップは、前記少なくとも二つの複数の信号処理パラメータを同時に摂動させるステップを備え、
前記二つの複数の信号処理パラメータを最適化するステップは、前記少なくとも二つの複数の信号処理パラメータを同時に最適化するステップを備える請求項8記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。 - 前記少なくとも二つの複数の信号処理パラメータは振幅パラメータと位相パラメータを含む請求項8記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 前記第2の通信信号のサンプルを得るステップと、前記干渉補償信号を生成するステップと、前記干渉信号を削減するステップと、前記信号処理パラメータを変更するステップと、前記削減された干渉の変化が前記信号処理パラメータにあると特定するステップと、前記信号処理パラメータを調整するステップとを繰り返すステップをさらに備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 前記特定するステップは、前記削減される干渉のエネルギーを監視するステップをさらに備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 前記特定するステップは、前記第1の通信信号のビットエラーレートを監視することによって前記削減された信号を評価するステップをさらに備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 前記特定するステップは、前記第1の通信信号の忠実度を評価するためにプロセッサを使用するステップを備える請求項1記載の通信信号の干渉削減方法。
- 第1の通信信号と第2の通信信号の間の干渉現象に関する干渉をキャンセルする方法であって、
第1のモデリングパラメータと第2のモデリングパラメータと前記干渉現象のチャンネル結合をモデルにするフィルタでの第1の通信信号のサンプルの処理に基づいて干渉補償信号を生成するステップと、
前記生成された干渉補償信号を第2の通信信号に適用することに応じて干渉の少なくとも一部をキャンセルするステップと、
残余干渉のために第2の通信信号を監視するステップと、
制御信号の状態を判断するステップと、
前記制御信号が第1の状態であると判断すると、前記監視された残余干渉に関する第1のモデリングパラメータを調整するステップと、
前記制御信号が第2の状態であると判断すると、前記監視された残余干渉に関する第2のモデリングパラメータを調整するステップと
を備える干渉キャンセル方法。 - 前記第1のモデリングパラメータを調整するステップは、前記第2のモデリングパラメータを一定に保持するステップをさらに備え、
前記第2のモデリングパラメータを調整するステップは、前記第1のモデリングパラメータを一定に保持するステップをさらに備える請求項15記載の干渉キャンセル方法。 - 前記第1のモデリングパラメータは利得を含み、また前記第2のモデリングパラメータは位相シフトを含む請求項15記載の干渉キャンセル方法。
- 前記第1のモデリングパラメータは振幅パラメータを含み、また前記第2のモデリングパラメータは信号遅延パラメータを含む請求項15記載の干渉キャンセル方法。
- 前記第1のモデリングパラメータを調整するステップは、前記第1のモデリングパラメータを最適化するコントローラを備え、
前記第2のモデリングパラメータを調整するステップは、前記第2のモデリングパラメータを最適化するコントローラを備える請求項15記載の干渉キャンセル方法。 - 前記第2の通信信号を監視するステップは、前記残余干渉のエネルギーを監視するステップを備える請求項15記載の干渉キャンセル方法。
- 前記第2の通信信号を監視するステップは、前記第2の通信信号のビットエラーを評価するステップを備える請求項15記載の干渉キャンセル方法。
- 前記第2の通信信号を監視するステップは、前記第2の通信信号の受信器から得られた情報に基づいて第2の通信信号の忠実度を評価するステップを備える請求項15記載の干渉キャンセル方法。
- 信号処理回路及びこの信号処理回路に結合されるコントローラを備えて、
第2の通信チャンネルから第1の通信チャンネルの伝送干渉をキャンセルする装置であって、
前記信号処理回路は、
干渉補償信号を前記第1の通信チャンネルに適用するための第1のポートと、
伝送のサンプルを受信する第2のポートと、
第1および第2の通信チャンネルの間のチャンネル結合をモデルにするフィルタと第1の信号処理設定と第2の信号処理設定に従った前記伝送のサンプルの処理に基づいて干渉補償信号を生成する生成実行部とを備え、
前記信号処理回路に接続されるコントローラは、
干渉情報を得るための第3のポートと、
フィードバックとして前記得られた干渉情報を使用する第1の信号処理設定を設定する第1の動作モード部と、
フィードバックとして前記得られた干渉情報を使用する第2の信号処理設定を設定する第2の動作モード部と
を備える干渉キャンセル装置。 - 前記コントローラは、前記第1の信号処理設定及び第2の信号処理設定の少なくとも1つに外乱を加える外乱印加実行部と、
前記第1の信号処理設定及び第2の信号処理設定の少なくとも1つの摂動に応じて干渉を検出するための検出実行部と、
前記検出された干渉応答に関する第1の信号処理設定及び第2の信号処理設定の少なくとも1つを変更するための変更実行部とを備える請求項23記載の干渉キャンセル装置。 - 前記第1の信号処理設定は、利得設定及び振幅設定の一を備え、
前記第2の信号処理設定は、位相設定及び遅延設定及び信号設定の一を備え、
前記第1の動作モード部は、さらに、状態が定義されて、第2の信号処理設定を維持する間、前記第1の信号処理設定を操作し、
前記第2の動作モード部は、さらに、状態が定義されて、第1の信号処理設定を維持する間、前記第2の信号処理設定を操作し、
前記システムはさらに、タイムイベントの発生に応じて第1の動作モードと第2の動作モードとの間でコントローラをシフトするためのシフト実行部を備える請求項23記載の干渉キャンセル装置。
