Description
本発明の防水加工布帛に用いる布帛としては、使用目的等に適したものを適宜用いることができ、その種類は特に限定されないが、例としては、ナイロン繊維、ポリエステル繊維、ポリアミド繊維等の合成繊維;アセテート繊維等の半合成繊維;綿、麻、羊毛等の天然繊維が挙げられる、これら各種の繊維は単独で用いてもよく、2種類以上混合して用いることもできる。またその組織も特に限定されず、織物、編物、不織布等を適宜用いることができる。
防水層を形成する植物由来成分を10〜65重量%含有するポリウレタン樹脂としては、ポリオール成分として2価の植物由来ポリオール等の植物由来成分を主に用いて合成したものを好適に用いることができる。
本発明の防水加工布帛は、実用上の防水の点から耐水圧が10kPa以上であることが好ましい。
(1)植物由来成分を含有するポリウレタン樹脂を水に可溶な極性溶剤(ジメチルホルムアミド:DMF、ジメチルスルホキシド:DMSOなどに代表される)に溶解してなるポリウレタン樹脂溶液を布帛にコーティングし、これを水中あるいは極性溶媒を含有する水溶液中で湿式ゲル化させて、透湿性と防水性を併せ持つ微多孔質膜を形成する方法。
(2)植物由来成分を含有するポリウレタン樹脂をポリエチレングリコールよりなるポリオールを共重合することにより透湿性のポリウレタン樹脂とし、これを溶解する溶剤で溶解してなるポリウレタン樹脂溶液を布帛にコーティングし、この溶剤を乾燥させて透湿性と防水性を併せ持つ無孔質膜を形成する方法。
(1)耐水圧:JIS規格L 1092に従って測定した。
(2)透湿度:JIS規格L 1099のA−1法およびB−1法に従って測定した。
(3)加水分解性評価試験(ジャングルテスト):70℃、相対湿度95%の高湿恒温槽において加水分解を促進させ、耐水圧の保持率(テスト前の耐水圧に対するテスト後の耐水圧の割合、単位%)を調べた。
(4)5%NaOH水溶液による煮沸試験:ステンレス製のバットを電磁誘導式電熱器で煮沸(おおよそ100℃)状態の中に浸漬して膜の溶解の発生を観察し、時間経過を分で評価した。
ヒマシ油ジオール1(伊藤製油(株)製、PH−5002、平均水酸基数:2.03個、水酸基価:43mgKOH/g)25g、ヒマシ油ジオール2(伊藤製油(株)製、H−56、平均水酸基数:2.03個、水酸基価:83mgKOH/g)25g、ポリブチレンアジペート(日本ポリウレタン(株)製、ニッポラン(登録商標)N−4060)50g、及びジメチルホルムアミド(以下、DMFと略記する)250gを1リットルのセパラブルコルベンに入れて溶解させ、45℃に調温しながらジフェニルメタンジイソシアネート(以下、MDIと略記する)56.1gを添加し、45℃で約1時間反応させ、プレポリマーとした。この後、温度を60℃に昇温し、エチレングリコール10.7gを添加し、60℃で鎖長延長反応をさせ、粘度上昇に合せてDMF250gを分割添加しながら重合を行った。おおよそ6〜8時間で重合が終わり、植物由来率30.0重量%(固形分中比率)のポリウレタン樹脂25%溶液が得られた。
ヒマシ油ジオール1(伊藤製油(株)製、PH−5002、平均水酸基数:2.03個、水酸基価43mgKOH/g)40g、ヒマシ油ジオール2(伊藤製油(株)製、H−56、平均水酸基数:2.03個、水酸基価:83mgKOH/g)40g、ポリブチレンアジペート(日本ポリウレタン(株)製、ニッポラン(登録商標)N−4060)20g、及びDMF250gを1リットルのセパラブルコルベンに入れて溶解させ、45℃に調温しながらMDI57.6gを添加し、45℃で約1時間反応させ、プレポリマーとした。この後、温度を60℃に昇温し、エチレングリコール10.9gを添加し、60℃で鎖長延長反応をさせ、粘度上昇に合せてDMF256gを分割添加しながら重合を行った。おおよそ6〜8時間で重合が終わり、植物由来率47.5重量%(固形分中比率)のポリウレタン樹脂25%溶液が得られた。

ヒマシ油ジオール1(伊藤製油(株)製、PH−5002、平均水酸基数:2.03個、水酸基価43mgKOH/g)70g、ヒマシ油ジオール2(伊藤製油(株)製、H−56、平均水酸基数:2.03個、水酸基価:83mgKOH/g)70g、及びDMF300gを1リットルのセパラブルコルベンに入れて溶解させ、45℃に調温しながらMDI58.6gを添加し、45℃で約1時間反応させ、プレポリマーとした。この後、温度を60℃に昇温し、エチレングリコール9.0gを添加し、60℃で鎖長延長反応をさせ、粘度上昇に合せてDMF323gを分割添加しながら重合を行った。おおよそ6〜8時間で重合が終わり、植物由来率67.4重量%(固形分中比率)のポリウレタン樹脂25%溶液が得られた。
ヒマシ油ジオール1(伊藤製油(株)製、PH−5002、平均水酸基数:2.03個、水酸基価43mgKOH/g)110g、及びDMF340gを1リットルのセパラブルコルベンに入れて溶解させ、45℃に調温しながらMDI58.6gを添加し、45℃で約1時間反応させ、プレポリマーとした。この後温度を60℃に昇温し、エチレングリコール5.0gを添加し、60℃で鎖長延長反応をさせ、粘度上昇に合せてDMF340gを分割添加しながら重合を行った。おおよそ6〜8時間で重合が終わり、植物由来率77.6重量%(固形分中比率)のポリウレタン樹脂25%溶液が得られた。
ポリブチレンアジペート(日本ポリウレタン(株)製、ニッポラン(登録商標)N−4060)100gとDMF250gを1リットルのセパラブルコルベンに入れて溶解させ、45℃に調温しながらMDI53.6gを添加し、45℃で約1時間反応させ、プレポリマーとした。この後温度を60℃に昇温し、エチレングリコール10.2gを添加し、60℃で鎖長延長反応をさせ、粘度上昇に合せてDMF241gを分割添加しながら重合を行った。おおよそ6〜8時間で重合が終わり、石油由来ポリウレタン樹脂25%溶液が得られた。
50デニールのナイロンフィラメントヤーンで構成されたナイロンリップタフタを、フッ素系撥水剤(ダイキン工業(株)製、ユニダイン(登録商標)TG−571)の30g/lの希釈液に浸漬し、絞り率40%でマングルで絞った後、120℃で乾燥し、130℃で30秒間熱処理し、撥水処理を行った。
50デニールのナイロンフィラメントヤーンで構成されたナイロンリップタフタを、フッ素系撥水剤(ダイキン工業(株)製、ユニダイン(登録商標)TG−571)の30g/lの希釈液に浸漬し、絞り率40%でマングルで絞った後、120℃で乾燥し、130℃で30秒間熱処理し、撥水処理を行った。
50デニールのナイロンフィラメントヤーンで構成されたナイロンリップタフタを、フッ素系撥水剤(ダイキン工業(株)製、ユニダイン(登録商標)TG−571)の30g/lの希釈液に浸漬し、絞り率40%でマングルで絞った後、120℃で乾燥し、130℃で30秒間熱処理し、撥水処理を行った。
上記実施例3で得られた植物由来率51.2重量%(積層樹脂層の固形分中比率)の防水加工布帛の樹脂面に、透湿性ポリウレタン樹脂(大日精化工業(株)製、ハイムレンY−237)100重量部にMEK100重量部を混合した透湿性ポリウレタン樹脂溶液をフローティングナイフコーティングで24g/m2の塗布量でコーティングし、トップコートを有する植物由来率45.4重量%(積層樹脂層の固形分中比率)の防水加工布帛を得た。得られた布帛について、耐水圧、透湿度を測定した。
50デニールのナイロンフィラメントヤーンで構成されたナイロンリップタフタを、フッ素系撥水剤(ダイキン工業(株)製、ユニダイン(登録商標)TG−571)の30g/lの希釈液に浸漬し、絞り率40%でマングルで絞った後、120℃で乾燥し、130℃で30秒間熱処理し、撥水処理を行った。
50デニールのナイロンフィラメントヤーンで構成されたナイロンリップタフタを、フッ素系撥水剤(ダイキン工業(株)製、ユニダインTG−571)の30g/lの希釈液に浸漬し、絞り率40%でマングルで絞った後、120℃で乾燥し、130℃で30秒間熱処理し、撥水処理を行った。

Claims (5)
- 植物由来成分を10〜65重量%含有するポリウレタン樹脂からなる防水層を布帛の片面に有する防水加工布帛であって、
前記防水層は、ポリウレタン樹脂からなる微多孔質膜を有し、
前記ポリウレタン樹脂は、これを構成するポリオール成分として、ヒマシ油系ポリエーテルポリエステルジオールであり、平均水酸基数が1.8〜2.1個の範囲内であり、水酸基価が41〜85mgKOH/gの範囲内であるヒマシ油ジオールであって、水酸基価が相互に異なるヒマシ油ジオールどうしの混合物を用いて得られたものであり、
JIS L 1099のA−1法による透湿度が104g/m2・hr以上である
ことを特徴とする防水加工布帛。 - 前記ヒマシ油ジオールの混合物が、平均水酸基数が1.95〜2.05個の範囲内であるヒマシ油ジオールどうしの混合物であることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の防水加工布帛。
- 前記ヒマシ油ジオールの混合物が、水酸基価43mgKOH/gのヒマシ油ジオールと水酸基価83mgKOH/gのヒマシ油ジオールとを質量比で1対1の割合で混合したものであることを特徴とする、請求項1又は2に記載の防水加工布帛。
- 耐水圧が10kPa以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の防水加工布帛。
- 温度70℃、湿度95%の条件下における加水分解性評価試験において3週間経過後の耐水圧の保持率が80%以上であることを特徴とする、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の防水加工布帛。
