    機構を備えたシートスライド装置において、 ロツク機構を、車体側レールに固着されていて
    複数の係止部が連設されたロツクプレートと、そ
    の軸線を中心として回動可能に座席側レールに支
    持され座席側レールに沿つて延びる操作軸と、該
    操作軸に固設され該操作軸で前記ロツクプレート
    の係止部に係脱操作されるラツチ部材とにより構
    成し、 前記操作軸を、前記ラツチ部材が前記係止部と
    係合する回転方向へ付勢するとともに、前記操作
    軸の軸線方向の一方へ付勢し、 前記ラツチ部材が前記係止部から外れた状態で
    、前記操作軸を該操作軸の軸線方向へ移動可能に
    座席側レールに支持し、 前記操作軸の軸線方向の一方へ前記操作軸が移
    動した際、前記操作軸を前記係合する回転方向へ
    回動不能に拘束する一方、前記操作軸の軸線方向
    の一方へ付勢する力に抗して前記操作軸を他方へ
    移動した際、前記操作軸を前記係合する回転方向
    へ回動可能に拘束解除する拘束部を座席側レール
    に設けたことを特徴とするシートスライド装置。
