Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明はセキュリティシステム等に使用される網膜や指
紋などの各個人に特有な個人情報を使用した本人確認シ
ステムに関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、本人であることを確認する確実な方法の一つとし
て、網膜または指紋などの個人情報を利用した本人確認
システムがある。しかし、従来　・の個人情報を利用し
た本人確認システムは、本人を確認するための個人情報
をあらかしめシステム内に格納しておき、確認される人
から読み取った個人情報と、システム内に格納されてい
る個人情報とを比較し、本人の確認を行っていた。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上述した従来の本人確認システムは、システム内に確認
される人々の各人の個人情報を記憶させなけれはならな
いので、多量の記憶容量か必要になるという問題点かあ
る。
本発明の目的は、システムの記憶装置に負担を掛けるこ
となく構成可能な、個人情報を使用した本人確認システ
ムを提供することにある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明の本人確認、システムは、あらかしめ読み取った
個人の網膜や指紋などの個人情報が格納されている情報
記憶カードと、前記情報記憶カードから前記個人情報を
読み込むカード読取装置と、確認される人から前記個人
情報を直接に読み取る個人情報読取装置と、前記カード
読取装置と前記個人情報読取装置とで読み取った前記個
人情報を比較照合する照合装置とを有して構成されてい
る。
〔実施例〕
次に、個人情報として網膜を使用した場合の本発明の実
施例について図面を参照して説明する。
第１図は本発明の一実施例のブロック図である。確認さ
れる人の目１から、その網膜の状態を網膜情報読取装置
２で読み取り、その読み取られた情報を網膜情報格納部
３に格納する。確認される各人が携帯し、本人の網膜情
報がすでに記憶されている情報記憶カード（ＩＣカード
、ＬＳＩカード、レーザーカード等）４から網膜情報を
カード読取装置５で読み出し、その読み取られた情報を
カード情報格納部６に格納する。網膜情報格納部３とカ
ード情報格納部６との両方に情報が格納されると照合装
置７か作動し、両方の内容を比較し照合結果信号を出力
する。
以上の構成により、記憶情報カートの所持者が本人であ
ることの確認か、確実に行われることは明らかである。
上記の実施例において、網膜情報読取装置を指紋情報読
取装置変更し、情報記憶カードに本人の指紋情報を記憶
させることにより、指紋を使用することも可能である。
なお、あらかじめ登録された者であるかどうかを確認す
るためには、システム内に記憶すべき情報量が少なく、
憶えやすいＩＤ番号などの方式を併用ずれはよい。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように、本発明は情報記憶カートを使用す
ることにより、システムの記憶装置に負担を掛けること
なく、個人情報を使用した本人確認システムを提供でき
る効果を有する。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. あらかじめ読み取った個人の網膜や指紋などの個人情報
    が格納されている情報記憶カードと、前記情報記憶カー
    ドから前記個人情報を読み込むカード読取装置と、確認
    される人から前記個人情報を直接に読み取る個人情報読
    取装置と、前記カード読取装置と前記個人情報読取装置
    とで読み取つた前記個人情報を比較照合する照合装置と
    を有することを特徴とする本人確認システム。
