輪用出力軸の軸方向に亙る変位量と後輪用出力軸
の軸方向に加わるばね荷重との関係を示す線図、
第４図は車速と舵角比との関係を示す線図、第５
図は後輪に付与される舵角が次第に小さくなる状
態を示す線図、第６図は前輪に付与された舵角と
後輪に付与された舵角との関係を、時間の経過と

Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 前輪に付与される舵角を検出する舵角セン
    サと、軸方向に変位する事により後輪に舵角を付
    与する後輪用出力軸と、この後輪用出力軸を軸方
    向に亙り変位させる電動モータと、車速を検出す
    る車速センサと、前記電動モータの回転駆動軸と
    前記後輪用出力軸との間に設けられ、電気的に断
    接するクラツチと、前記後輪用出力軸の変位に基
    づいて後輪に付与された舵角を検出する変位セン
    サと、前記舵角センサと車速センサとからの信号
    に基づいて、前記電動モータへの通電及び前記ク
    ラツチの断接を制御する制御器と、前記電動モー
    タの発熱程度を求める検出手段とを有し、前記後
    輪の操舵中心をこの後輪の着力点よりも車両の前
    進方向後方に位置させると共に、前記後輪用出力
    軸を車体に対し、軸方向に亙る若干の変位を自在
    として弾性的に支持して成り、前記制御器が、前
    記車速センサにより検出される車速が一定値以下
    の場合にのみ、前記クラツチを繋いで、電動モー
    タへの通電に基づく後輪への舵角付与を自在とす
    る第一の機能と、前記検出手段により求められる
    電動モータの温度が一定値を越えた場合で、且つ
    後輪に舵角が付与されている場合に、この舵角を
    徐々に減少させる第二の機能とを有する四輪操舵
    装置。 (2) 請求項１に記載の四輪操舵装置に於いて、
    制御器が、第二の機能を省略する代わりに、又は
    第二の機能に加えて、車速が零となつてから一定
    時間を経過した後で、且つ後輪に舵角が付与され
    ている場合に、この舵角を徐々に減少させる第三
    の機能を有する四輪操舵装置。
