Abstract
Description
Claims (17)
- 1.主相として1種以上の希土類金属、硼素および鉄の結晶性合金、ここで実質 的にすべての微結晶が35ナノメータ未満の粒度を有する、と副相としてα−F eとからなる2相磁性材料の製造方法であって、この方法は、i)12原子パー セントまでの1種以上の希土類金属と、3〜7原子パーセントの硼素と、残りの 鉄または鉄とコバルトの混合物とからなる合金を溶融紡糸し、 ii)工程(i)からの溶融紡糸合金を、結晶質と非晶質の混合物が生成される ような条件下で急冷し、そして iii)工程(ii)からの材料を、一定の結晶成長が行われて結晶性合金相が 得られ、実質的にすべての結晶性合金相が35ナノメータ未満の粒度を有し、か つ得られた材料が理論値0.8テスラ(Tesla)を越える残留磁気を有する ような条件下でアニーリング処理する、ことからなる2相磁性材料の製造方法。
- 2.前記合金の希土類金属が、ネオジムである請求項1に記載の方法。
- 3.前記希土類金属が、8〜10原子パーセントの量で、溶融紡糸される合金に 存在する請求項1または請求項2に記載の方法。
- 4.溶融紡糸される前記合金が、4〜6原子パーセントの硼素を含む上記請求項 のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 5.実質的にすべての結晶性合金相が、25ナノメータ未満の粒度を有する微結 晶からなる上記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 6.前記工程(ii)で製造された材料が、10〜50体積%の非晶質を含む上 記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 7.前記工程(ii)で製造された材料が、20〜30体積%の非晶質を含む請 求項6に記載の方法。
- 8.前記合金を水冷回転ホイールまたは冷却ロールの上に滴下して急冷する上記 請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 9.前記工程(ii)で製造された材料を、前記工程(iii)で粉砕する上記 請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 10.前記アニーリング処理が、前記材料を650℃〜800℃の範囲の温度に 急速加熱し、材料をこの温度で1〜20分間維持し、次いで材料を室温に急速冷 却する上記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 11.溶融紡糸工程(i)の合金を、その融点以上の約50℃の温度に維持する 上記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法。
- 12.上記請求項のいずれかに記載の方法により製造された0.9Tより多くの 残留磁気を有する粉末磁性材料。
- 13.1Tを越える残留磁気を有する請求項12に記載の粉末磁性材料。
- 14.請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の方法により製造された350〜900 KAm−1の保磁力を有する粉末磁性材料。
- 15.請求項1〜11のいずれかに記載の方法により製造された磁性材料の粉末 を待合して形成した結合磁石。
- 16.80体積%の前記磁性材料を含み、かつ80KJm−3以上の最大エネル ギー出力を有する請求項15に記載の結合磁石。
- 17.88kJm−3を越える最大エネルギー出力を有する請求項16に記載の 結合磁石。
