Claims (4)

  1. 基材の少なくとも一部分上を被覆した、前記基材を含む、熱転写ドナー要素であって、
    （ａ）ジアゾ置換基および前記ジアゾ置換基に隣接した少なくとも１個の電子求引性基を有するジアゾ化合物；
    （ｂ）非ジアゾ電磁線吸収剤；および
    （ｃ）熱物質転写性材料、
    を含み、前記ジアゾ化合物が２５０℃以下の分解温度を有する、熱転写ドナー要素。
  2. 下記式
    〔式中、Ｒ1 はＨ、（Ｃ1 〜Ｃ4 ）脂肪族基、または、
    であり、ｐは２〜１０００であり、Ｒ2 はＨまたは有機基であり、そしてｍは２〜１０である。〕のジアゾ化合物。
  3. 下記式
    （式中、Ｒ3 およびＲ4 は、独立に、（Ｃ1 〜Ｃ15）アルキル基、（Ｃ7 〜Ｃ15）アルカリール基、（Ｃ7 〜Ｃ15）アラルキル基、（Ｃ6 〜Ｃ15）アリール基および（Ｃ5 〜Ｃ15）複素環式基からなる群より選ばれたものである。）
    のジアゾ化合物。
  4. （ａ）請求項１記載の熱転写ドナー要素を画像受容要素と接触させる工程、および、
    （ｂ）（ａ）の構造体を画像様に露光して、それにより、熱転写ドナー要素の熱物質転写性材料を画像受容要素に転写する工程、
    を含む、画像を形成するための方法。
