Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ドライブ信号に応じて、既知の識別可能な場を発生させる複数の場発生器; 該場に応じてセンサ信号を発生する観血的の医療機器中の遠心端近傍に位置し た複数のセンサ; ならびに 該ドライブ信号と該センサ信号に対応した複数の信号に対する入力を持ち、か つ該ドライブ信号と該センサ信号に応じて、観血的の医療機器中のある部分の三 個の位置座標と三個の方位座標を計算する信号プロセッサ;より成る参照フレー ムと比較して侵襲的医療機器の位置と方位を決定するための位置決めシステム。 2.複数の場発生器あるいはセンサの一つが、三個の識別可能な非多重性の場発生 器あるいはセンサである、請求項1に記載の位置決めシステム。 3.複数の場発生器が、三個の識別可能な非多重性の場発生器より成り、複数のセ ンサが、三個の識別可能な非多重性のセンサより成る、請求項1に記載の位置決 めシステム。 4.各センサがコイルより成る、請求項1から3の位置決めシステム。 5.該複数のコイルがコイル中で交差する軸を持っている、請求項4の位置決めシ ステム。 6.該複数のコイルが三個のコイルより成り、該コイルは1つのポイント中で必ず しも交差しない軸を持っている、請求項4あるいは請求項5の位置決めシステム 。 7.各場発生器により発生された電場が、異なる周波数、異なる位相あるいは異な る周波数 と異なる位相の両方を持つている、前記の請求項のいずれかの位置決めシステム 。 8.各場発生器により発生された場が、異なる周波数を持つている、前記の請求項 のいずれかの位置決めシステム。 9.場発生器の周波数が、与えられた周波数の各整数倍である、請求項8の位置決 めシステム。 10.信号プロセッサが、ドライブ信号とセンサ信号に対応した信号に相互相関す る、請求項7から請求項9のいずれかの位置決めシステム。 11.信号プロセッサが、ドライブ信号とセンサ信号に対応した信号に相互相関し 、かつ入力の相互相関の期間は、整数の乗数の最小共通積を与えられた周波数で 割ったものである、請求項9の位置決めシステム。 12.相互相関の結果が、各該センサにより発生した信号への各場発生器の効果を 計算するために使われる、請求項10あるいは請求項11の位置決めシステム。 13.場がAC磁場である、前記の請求項のいずれかの位置決めシステム。 14.AC磁場が連続的場である、前記の請求項13の位置決めシステム。 15.観血的の医療機器中のポイントの位置を表示するためのデイスプレイシステ ムを包含 している、前記の請求項のいずれかの位置決めシステム。 16.局所条件に感応する観血的の医療機器の部分上に、追加センサがある、前記 の請求項のいずれかの位置決めシステム。 17.追加センサは、局所電気信号に感応し、かつこの信号を患者の体外にある端 末に転送する、請求項16の位置決めシステム。 18.信号が、患者の心内膜からの電気信号である、請求項17の位置決めシステ ム。 19.信号プロセッサが、患者の体内の組織を通して電気信号の伝搬を表すマップ を作る位置座標信号ならびに方位座標信号と心内膜上の複数の点で得られた局所 電気信号を処理する、請求項18の位置決めシステム。 20.追加センサは、心内膜の一部を切除するために心内膜に電気エネルギを供給 するために作用する、請求項16から請求項22の位置決めシステム。 21.心内膜の一部を切除するために心内膜に電気エネルギを供給するために用い られる電極を包含している、請求項1から請求項16のいずれかの位置決めシス テム。 22.追加センサが、超音波送信器/受信器である、請求項16の位置決めシステム 。 23.超音波送信器/受信器が、遠心端の先の組織の音響特性の三次元以下の表示を 提供する、 請求項22の位置決めシステム。 24.遠心端が偏向可能である、請求項23による位置決めシステム。 25.遠心端の異なる方位において得られた複数の該三次元以下の表示を受信し、 かつ少なくとも部分的に遠心端を囲んでいる組織の音響特性の三次元マップを作 るイメージ再構築回路を包含する、請求項24による位置決めシステム。 26.参照機器に位置している複数の非多重性のセンサを包含している参照機器か ら成り、該デイスプレイシステムは、参照機器上のポイントの位置に比べて観血 的の医療機器中のポイントの位置を表示する、前記の請求項のいずれかの位置決 めシステム。 27.位置決めシステムが、唯一個の参照機器から成っている、請求項26の位置 決めシステム。 28.参照機器は観血的の医療機器であり、該センサはその遠心端近傍に設置され ている、請求項26あるいは請求項27の位置決めシステム。 29.機器の遠心端に結びつけられている軸方向に見える超音波イメージング変換 器を持っており、そしてこの変換器は、遠心端の先の組織の音響特性の表示を発 生する観血的の医療機器; その方位を変更するために遠心端を操作する手段;並びに、 遠心端の異なる方位において得られた複数の該表示を受信し、かつ遠心端の異 なる方位において得られた複数の該表示に基づいて、少なくとも部分的に遠心端 を囲んでいる組織 の音響特性の3次元マップを作るイメージ再構築回路; より成る体内超音波イメージング用のイメージングシステム。 30.ドライブ信号に対応して、既知の識別可能な場を発生する複数の場発生器; 該場に応じてセンサ信号を発生する観血的の医療機器中の遠心端近傍に位置した 複数のセンサ; ならびに 該ドライブ信号と該センサ信号に対応した複数の信号に対する入力を持ち、かつ 観血的の医療機器中のある点の三個の位置座標と三個の方位座標を作る信号プロ セッサより成る、請求項29のイメージングシステム。 31.該表示が、一次元あるいは二次元表示である請求項29あるいは請求項30 のイメージングシステム。 32.観血的の医療機器が、カテーテルあるいは内視鏡である、前記の請求項のい ずれかのシステム。 33.(a)複数の、識別可能な、幾何学的に異なったAC磁場を発生すること; (b)遠心端近傍の複数のセンサにおいてAC磁場を感知すること、 (c)発生した磁場及び感知磁場を表わす信号に対応する観血的の医療機器のある 一部に対する六個の位置と方位の数値を計算すること、 より成る遠心端を有する観血的の医療機器、例えばカテーテルあるいは内視鏡の 位置と方位を決定する方法。 34.複数の、識別可能な、幾何学的に異なった場が、3つのこのような場より成 る、請求項33による方法。 35.AC磁場が、観血的の医療機器の3つのポイントで感知される、請求項33 あるいは請求項34による方法。 36.観血的の医療機器が、カテーテルあるいは内視鏡である、請求項33から請 求項35のいづれかによる方法。 37.(a)超音波変換器すなわち変換器末端の先の音響特性を表示する該超音波変換 器を体内に挿入すること; (b)複数の該表示を提供するように変換器の方位を操作しこと; (c)各表示のために変換器の六次元の位置と方位を決定する事を包含すること; そして (d)複数の該表示から変換器端末を少なくとも部分的に囲んでいる領域に於ける 組織の音響特性の三次元マップを構築すること; より成る超音波体内イメージング方法。 38.変換器の挿入が、患者の体内に観血的の医療機器を挿入することより成り、 該超音波変換器が、装置の遠心端に関して位置と方位を固定されており;そして 操作が、遠心端の方位を変更することより成る、請求項37による方法。 39.表示が三次元以下の表示である、請求項37による方法。 40.遠心端近傍の複数の少なくとも3個の磁場センサ、それらの間で固定した方 位を持つ該センサより成る観血的の医療機器。 41.各センサがコイルより成る、請求項40の装置。 42.該複数のコイルが、コイル内で交差している軸を持っている、請求項40の 装置。 43.複数が3である、請求項40から請求項42のいづれかの装置。 44.該複数のコイルが三個のコイルより成り、該コイルは1つのポイント中で必 ずしも交差しない軸を持っている、請求項41あるいは請求項42の装置。 45.さらに該遠心端にある超音波変換器より成る、請求項40から請求項44の 装置。 46.超音波変換器が、カテーテルの軸沿い及び先の組織の音響特性の表示を提供 する、請求項45の装置。 47.該表示が一次元表示である、請求項46の装置。 48.該表示が二次元表示である、請求項46の装置。 49.該遠心端にある電気プローブより成る、請求項40から請求項44の機器。 50.該電気プローブが、接触していて該信号をカテーテルの近傍端に導く組織に より発生した電気信号を感知するために用いられる、請求項49の機器。 51.該電気プローブが、該プローブに接触している組織に切除電気信号を供給す るために用いられる、請求項49の機器。 52.遠心端で局所的化学性質を測定するためのセンサを包含している、請求項4 0から請求項44のいづれかの装置。 53.該装置がカテーテルあるいは内視鏡である、請求項40から請求項52のい づれかの装置。 54.遠心端の方位を変更するための手段をも包含する、請求項40から請求項5 3のいづれかの装置。 55.方位を変更するための手段が、遠心端に取り付けられかつ遠心端近傍で曲げ られた医療機器を貫通している相対的にさらに柔軟なワイヤ;ならびに遠心端近 傍で真っ直ぐで、かつその時にワイヤをスライド出来るように保持しており、か つそれによりスリーブがワイヤ上を滑る場合に、ワイヤと遠心端は真っ直ぐにな る相対的にさらに堅いスリーブより成る、請求項54による装置。 56.装置は長軸を持ち、かつワイヤは装置の軸を外して設置される、 請求項55による装置。 57.方位を変更するための手段が、第一端末、すなはち装置の円心端末に取り付 けられている該第一端末、に取り付けられている二つの部分を形成するために、 長い部分に沿って切り開かれた平坦な相対的に柔軟な部分;一端はそれらの第二 端で該部分の一つに取り付けられている一対のワイヤ;そしてこれにより柔軟な エレメントは曲げられ、それにより装置の遠心端を操縦するワイヤの相対的長さ を変更するための手段;より成る、請求項55による装置。 58.装置の円心端末に取り付けられている該第一端末、に取り付けられている二 つの部分を形成するために、長い部分に沿って切り開かれた平坦な相対的に柔軟 な部分;一端はそれらの第二端で該部分の一つに取り付けられている一対のワイ ヤ;そしてこれにより柔軟なエレメントは曲げられ、それにより装置の遠心端の 操縦が出来ることになるワイヤの相対的長さを変更するための手段より成る、観 血的の医療機器の遠心端を操縦するための装置。 59.観血的の医療機器の遠心端が、カテーテルあるいは内視鏡である、請求項5 8による機器。 60.内面内部の複数の方位での該表面までの距離を測定すること; そして表面のイメージを形成するために距離を組み合わせることより成る; 人体内部の器官の内部表面の三次元イメージを作る方法。 61.距離の測定が、超音波変換器を利用することにより行われる、請求項60に よる方法。 62.その遠心端近傍の複数の磁場センサおよび超音波変換器より成る観血的の医 療機器。 63.該超音波変換器が、カテーテルの軸沿い及び先の組織の音響特性の表示を提 供する、請求項62の装置。 64.該表示が一次元表示である、請求項63の装置。 65.該表示が二次元表示である、請求項63の装置。 66.該超音波変換器が、装置の遠心端に関して位置と方位を固定されている、請 求項45から請求項48ならびに請求項62から請求項65のいづれかの装置。 67.装置の遠心端の方位を変更することにより変換器の方位をコントロールしな がら変更するための手段を包含している、請求項66の装置。 68.該装置が、カテーテルあるいは内視鏡である、請求項62から請求項67の いづれかの装置。
