Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.相互に連絡する基端部と先端部を具えた膨張型分岐ステントであって、前記 基端部は一次通路を具え、前記先端部は一対の二次通路を具えており、前記ステ ントに半径方向の外向きの力が加わるとき、前記ステントは第一の収縮位置から 第二の膨張位置まで膨張可能であることを特徴とする分岐ステント。 2.前記一次通路が細長く、前記一対の二次通路を実質的に二分する長手方向軸 (longitudinal axis)を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の分岐ステン ト。 3.前記一次通路が多孔性であることを特徴とする請求項2に記載の分岐ステン ト。 4.一次通路の多孔性が、複数の交差部材(intersecting members)によって形 成されていることを特徴とする請求項3に記載の分岐ステント。 5.前記交差部材が、第一繰り返しパターンを形成していることを特徴とする請 求項4に記載の分岐ステント。 6.前記第一繰り返しパターンが、一次通路の長手方向軸に実質的に平行な一対 の側壁と、該側壁に接続する第一の凹壁と第二の凸壁とを有する多角形であり、 前記第一壁と第二壁は、前記一次通路の長手方向軸に平行な軸に沿って同じ長さ であることを特徴とする請求項5に記載の分岐ステント。 7.前記第一壁及び第二壁は実質的に弧状(arcuate)であることを特徴とする 請求項6に記載の分岐ステント。 8.前記交差部材が第二繰り返しパターンを形成していることを特徴とする請求 項5又は6に記載の分岐ステント。 9.前記第二繰り返しパターンが、前記一次通路の長手方向軸に実質的に直交す る軸に沿って取られる第一繰り返しパターンの実質的な鏡像であることを特徴と する請求項8に記載の分岐ステント。 10.前記二次通路が細長く、前記一次通路の長手方向軸と鋭角で交差している 長手方向軸を有することを特徴とする請求項1〜9のいずれか一項に記載の分 岐ステント。 11.前記二次通路が多孔性であることを特徴とする請求項10に記載の分岐ス テント。 12.前記各二次通路の多孔性が複数の交差部材によって形成されていることを 特徴とする請求項11に記載の分岐ステント。 13.前記交差部材が第一繰り返しパターンを形成していることを特徴とする請 求項12に記載の分岐ステント。 14.前記第一繰り返しパターンが、前記二次通路の長手方向に実質的に平行な 一対の側壁と、第一の凹壁と、前記側壁に接続された第二の凸壁とを有する多角 形であり、前記第一壁と第二壁は二次通路の長手方向軸に平行な軸に沿って同じ 長さであることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の分岐ステント。 15.前記第一壁と第二壁が実質的に弧状であることを特徴とする請求項14に 記載の分岐ステント。 16.前記交差部材が第二繰り返しパターンを形成していることを特徴とする請 求項13又は14に記載の分岐ステント。 17.前記第二繰り返しパターンが前記二次通路の長手方向軸に実質的に直交す る軸に沿って第一繰り返しパターンの実質的な鏡像であることを特徴とする請求 項16に記載の分岐ステント。 18.前記一次通路が二次通路のそれぞれに交差点で接続されていることを特徴 とする請求項1に記載の分岐ステント。 19.前記交差点がステントの残りの部分に関して補強されていることを特徴と する請求項18に記載の分岐ステント。 20.前記交差点が多孔性であることを特徴とする請求項18又は19に記載の 分岐ステント。 21.前記交差点の多孔性が複数の交差部材によって形成されていることを特徴 とする請求項20に記載の分岐ステント。 22.前記交差点の多孔性が第三の繰り返しパターンによって形成されているこ とを特徴とする請求項21に記載の分岐ステント。 23.前記第三繰り返しパターンが、前記一次通路の長手方向に実質的に平行 な一対の側壁と、前記側壁に接続された第一の凹壁と第二の凸壁とを有する多角 形であり、前記第一壁と第二壁は一次通路の長手方向軸に平行な軸に沿って同じ 長さであり、補強バーが、前記一対の側壁の間にこれに実質的に平行に設けられ ていることを特徴とする請求項22に記載の分岐ステント。 24.前記補強バーが各側壁から実質的に等距離に設けられていることを特徴と する請求項23に記載の分岐ステント。 25.前記一次通路が実質的に円形断面を有していることを特徴とする請求項1 に記載の分岐ステント。 26.二次通路のそれぞれが、実質的に円形断面を有していることを特徴とする 請求項1に記載の分岐ステント。 27.一次通路の断面積が、各二次通路の断面積の合計と実質的に同じであるこ とを特徴とする請求項1に記載の分岐ステント。 28.前記先端部がステントの残りの部分に対して可撓性を有することを特徴と する請求項1に記載の分岐ステント。 29.前記基端部がステントの残りの部分に対して可撓性を有することを特徴と する請求項1に記載の分岐ステント。 30.一次通路と二次通路のそれぞれの長さが実質的に同じであることを特徴と する請求項1に記載の分岐ステント。 31.相互に連絡する基端部と先端部と、該基端部と先端部の間に設けられた管 状壁とを具えた膨張型ステントであって、該管状壁は長手方向軸と多孔性の表面 を有し、該多孔性表面は第一繰り返しパターンを形成するように配置された複数 の交差部材で形成され、該第一繰り返しパターンは、前記長手方向軸に実質的に 平行な一対の側壁と、前記側壁に接続された第一凹壁と第二凸壁と有する多角形 であり、該第一壁と第二壁は前記長手方向に平行な軸に沿って同じ長さであり、 前記ステントは、これに半径方向の外向きの力が加わると第一の収縮位置から第 二の膨張位置まで膨張可能であることを特徴とする膨張型ステント。 32.前記第一壁と第二壁が実質的に鋭角であることを特徴とする請求項33に 記載のステント。 33.前記交差部材が第二繰り返しパターンを形成していることを特徴とする 請求項31に記載のステント。 34.前記第二繰り返しパターンが、前記長手方向軸に実質的に直交する線に沿 う第一繰り返しパターンの実質的な鏡像であることを特徴とする請求項33に記 載のステント。 35.相互に連絡する基端部と先端部とを具え、前記基端部は一次通路を具え、 前記先端部は一対の二次通路を具え、半径方向の外向きの力が加わると第一の収 縮位置から第二の膨張位置まで膨張可能である膨張型分岐ステントを、目標とす る人体通路に加える方法であって、 第一の収縮位置にあるステントをカテーテル上に配置し、 目標の人体通路にカテーテルを挿入することによって、目標の人体通路内にス テントとカテーテルを挿入し、 ステントが第二の膨張位置を占めて目標の人体通路に対して押しつけられるよ うに、ステントに半径方向の外向きの膨張力を加わえる 各ステップを含むことを特徴とする方法。 36.前記膨張力が、ステントが第二の膨張位置を占めて目標の人体通路に対し て押しつけられるように、カテーテルを膨張させることによって与えられること を特徴とする請求項35に記載の方法。 37.カテーテルをしぼませ、目標の人体通路からカテーテルを取り外すステッ プを更に含むことを特徴とする請求項36に記載の方法。 38.前記膨張力が前記一次通路と二次通路に対して同時に与えられることを特 徴とする請求項34乃至37のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
