Abstract
PURPOSE: To use a novel electroconductive paste thereby to effectively utilize the feature of printing method and to obtain easily and cheaply electrodes of a comparatively large sized semiconductor such as a solar battery or the like of high efficiency.
CONSTITUTION: A P+-layer 2 is formed on one side of an n-type Si substrate 1 and an n+ diffused layer 3 on another surface thereof. A paste consisting of a mixture consisting of glass, Ag, Au and Al is printed on respective diffused surfaces by use of screens, and then the diffused surfaces are subjected to hot drying to evaporate and remove the organic solvent. Lattice-like electrodes 4 are formed on the P+ diffused surface 2 and a full surface electrode 5 on the n+ diffused surface 3, and further lead wires 7 and 8 are respectively taken up thereby to constitute a solar battery.
