Abstract
PURPOSE: A repellent of birds capable of protecting predatory objects of birds, e.g., seeds of farm products and of germination from birds, consisting of a specific organic phosphate derivative as an active ingredient.
CONSTITUTION: A repellent consisting of 0.1W95wt%, preferably 0.5W90wt% of an organic phosphate derivative shown by the formula I [A is group shown by the formula II or III (Hal is halogen; m is 2 or 3); X is O or S] as an active ingredient. In application, it is directly diluted with water a with an agricultural auxiliary, e.g., a diluent, surfactant, stabilizer, etc., or made into agricutural medicine forms, e.g., emulsion, oil, wettable powder, etc. by the general method available in the field of its production. The predatory objects of birds, e.g., seeds of farm products and of germination, are coated with the repellent or covered with its powder, or the seeded surface is sprayed with it so that the birds having laten them exhibit strong repellent reaction. The damage by birds is thus prevented.
