Abstract
PURPOSE:To prevent contact between wires when wiring is performed using long wires by a method wherein bonding wires, which connect between bonding terminals, are aligned using V-grooved arraies. CONSTITUTION:When a connection between an LED array 1 and a driving circuit element 2 is performed using a wire bonding, a pitch P of a wire 4 is smaller than the diameter L of pads 3a and 3b for the purpose of performing a high density wiring. Also, pads 3a and 3b are so arranged that they will no overlap each other by changing the length of the wire 4 successively. And, a V-groove is provided with a groove pitch equal to a pitch P of the array, and as the array 8 has a heavier thickness than that of the crystal of the array 1 and the array 2, the wire 4 can be fixed easily in the V-groove. As a result, contact between wires can be prevented even when long wires are used and the high density wiring can be performed.
