Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 本発明に自ルυ二輪車キｔのエンジン冷却装置に関する
もので、特に車体体部のりャカバー内にエンジンを恰載
した自動二輪車等に於て、水冷式のエンジン冷却装匝奮
単体のあい７ｃ窒間髪利用してコンパクトに配置すると
共に、効率の工い冷却装置ｔイｉ＋ること？目的とする
。
即ち、車体１の後部のりャカバー２内にエンジン３ｋＧ
’載した自■υ二輪車等に於て、上記エンジン６を水冷
式とし、そのエンジン冷却用のラジェータ４に上記リヤ
カバー２内のエンジン前方に配置し、リヤカバー２のラ
ジェータ前方位置に走行風導入孔５１を設けたことｒ特
徴とする。
図示例１ｊ：ｍＩ図に示す工うに、前銑楢６−７間に設
けた低床式ステップフロア８の前方にＶラグシールド９
を有し、後方に後車輸７・エンジン６等７損うリヤカバ
ー２′？１：備えたいわゆるスクータに適用したもので
める。
上記リエンジンろは水冷式とし、１！すえは第２図に示
す工うに、七ｇと一体的に設けｆこ仮車輪７へＶ）動力
伝達部１０とでパワーユニツ）　１１　’ｅｒ　’１４
ｍする。そしてそのパワーユニット１１ｒオープン壓フ
レーム１２（／Ｊリヤ７Ｖ−ム１６にリンク１４・１７
−７ザスペンシヨン１５ｖｆで支持させる。
一方、ラジェータ４は例えは第２・３ド［に示ず工うに
、上記エンジン６の前方Ｃ）リヤカバー２で憶われた空
間１′３に於て、上記リャシＶ−ム１５の立上Ｖ部１３
ａ苛にブラケット１６ζ・ンで取付ける。
ただし、リヤカバー２のｌり面又はエンジン６の前部等
に取付けることもある。１７ａ・１７ｂμラジエータ４
とエンジン６と七遅通する管、１８ｔＪ、ウォータポン
プ、１９にマフラを示す。
又走行風導入孔５に図の場合リヤカバー２の前部２ａＨ
工ろい戸状に形成し７２＋もので、６：Ｊ方刀為らの走
行風ｔその導入孔５刀１らラジェータ４に尋いた彼、エ
ンジン６の周■を通ってリヤカバ−２ｖ後部２ｂに形成
した排風孔２０．もｌ／　＜はりャヵバー２の下部開口
２１等７Ｊ１ら後方に排風丁心。２２汀リヤカバー２の
前上部に形成した通風孔で、エンジン６等、の熱気がリ
ヤカバー２内の上部にこもるのｔ防ぐ。
２６に前す己リヤフレーム１５にヒンジ２４に工ｐ起倒
可能に取付けたシートで、そのシート２６を起倒嘔せる
ことにエフリヤカバー２の上部開口２５の開閉が可能で
わる＊２６ｒｔシート２２の係止ｌｉｄ　４１１　ｗ示
す。又２７μラジエータ４への給水用’Ｍ、２Ｂ＋よラ
ジェータキャップにして図の場合は上記シート２６σノ
直下に位ｉｔさせてシート２６を起丁ことに１９谷易に
給水できる工うにしたものである。
なお、ラジェータ４にに必安に応じて冷却７アンを設け
るものとし１例えは冷却水の温［’ｆｆｉセンサ昔で検
知して所定温匠以上で作Ｈｊ９させる工うに栴成するＴ
Ｉｌ″司とする。又ラジェータ４にはリザー　　　−プ
タンクを備えることもある。
本発明エンジン冷却装置に上ｒ１１２の（Ｉｆ成である
かう、ラジェータ４ｗリヤカバー２１７３　Ｕ）エンジ
ン前方ｖ）あいた空間を利用してまとまり艮くｌ６にで
きると共に、ラジェータ４とエンジン６とは近接して両
者【遅進する”ｄ１７＆・１７ｂμ短かくてすむ刀為ら
、この捕のエンジン冷却装置１１−極めてコンパクトに
４１・ｊ成で＠る。又前方からの走行ノ賊に前記の工う
に等人孔５からラジェータ４に導かれに後。
エンジン６０周囲を辿って排風され効率良（冷却場れる
ものである。＊にラジェータ４は車体の略中央部に位吃
するηλら前後輪の分布荷嵐に優れる。
又ラジェータ４にりャヵバー２で慎ゎれてぃ、６から、
走行中物が尚ってＩＩｔ接衝場を受ける工うなことがな
く耐久性が艮い等の効果がるる。

  1. （１）車体後部σノリャカバー内にエンジンを搭載しｍ
    自動二輪車等に於て、上す己エンジンを水冷式とシ、ソ
    σツエンジン冷却用ラジェータを上記リヤカバー内のエ
    ンジン前方に配置し、リヤカバーのラジェータＭ＋Ｊ方
    位ｙｔに走行風導入孔を設は几自動二輪車等のエンジン
    冷却装置。
