Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 この考案はオートバイのハンドルレバーの改良に関する
。
一般に、オートバイのハンドルレバーはハンドルの両端
のグリップ部の前方に突出して設けられているため、オ
ートバイが転倒したときに折れ易く、またオートバイを
物置き等の狭い場所からの出し入れにも、突出したハン
ドルレバーが他のものに引掛り易く、不都合である。
この考案はかかる点に鑑み改善したもので、以下図面に
示す本考案の実施例について説明する。
ハンドル１の端部に保持金具２をボルト３によって締着
して固定する。
尚、ハンドル１の端にはグリップ筒４が装着される。
保持金具２には一側に軸受け５を設け、この軸受け５に
ハンドル１と略平行な方向に挿通した支軸６でレバーボ
デー７の基端を回動可能に軸着する。
レバーボデー７はハンドルレバー８を軸９で回動自在に
軸着し、ハンドルレバー８にはボーデンワイヤ１０を連
結する。
レバーボデー７は基部に凹部１１を設け、保持金具２内
に弾挿したバネ１２によって押圧されるボール１３を凹
部１１に嵌合させ、節度を持たせである。
作用について説明する。
通常、レバーボデー７は凹部１１にボール１３が弾接し
ていて、正常位置を保ち、ハンドルレバー８がグリップ
筒４の前方に位置している。
この状態でハンドルレバー８を握ってグリップ筒４側に
引寄せ、ブレーキやクラッチを操作する。
オートバイを転倒したような場合で、ハンドルレバー８
に異状なショックが加わると、凹部１１がボール１３か
ら外れ、レバーボデー７が回動して、ハンドルレバー８
が第２図に二点鎖線で示すように逃げ、破損を防ぐこと
ができる。
又、狭い場所にオートバイを入れる等、ハンドルレバー
８が邪魔になることが考えられる場合は、予めレバーボ
デー７を回動させて逃しておく。
以上説明したように、この考案は、レバーボデーにハン
ドルレバーを回動自在に軸着したものに於て、レバーボ
デーの基端をハンドルに固定した保持金具に、ハンドル
と略平行の支軸で回動可能に軸着したので、オートバイ
が転倒してハンドルレバーに異状なショックが加った場
合、レバーボデーが回動してハンドルレバーが逃げるこ
とができ、ハンドルレバーの破損が防げる。
又、狭い場所に入れる場合は、予めレバーボデーを回動
して、ハンドルレバーを逃しておくことができ、ハンド
ルレバーを他のものに引掛けるようなことを少くできて
便利である。

  1. レバーボデーにハンドルレバーを回動自在に軸着したも
    のに於て、レバーボデーの基端をハンドルに固定した保
    持金具にハンドルと略平行の支軸で回動可能に軸着した
    ことを特徴とするオートバイのハンドルレバー。
