Claims (1)
- 加速されたイオンビームを試料に照射し、試料
表面数層からの散乱ビームを減速管中を通過させ
て減速し、この減速された散乱ビームのエネルギ
ーを測定することにより試料表面の物性を解析す
る装置において、試料に照射前のイオンビームお
よび試料からの散乱ビームの経路上に両ビームを
偏向させる第１の偏向磁石を設け、かつ第１の偏
向磁石を通過して来る散乱ビームの経路上に当該
散乱ビームを第１の偏向磁石とは逆方向に偏向さ
せる第２の偏向磁石を設け、更に第２の偏向磁石
を通過してくる散乱ビームの経路上に当該散乱ビ
ームを第２の偏向磁石と同方向に偏向させて前記
減速管へ入射させる第３の偏向磁石を設けている
ことを特徴とする表面解析装置。
