Abstract

La presente invencion se refiere a formas solidas amorfas y cristalinas de desvenlafaxina (DSV o (+/-)-1-[2-(dimetilamino)-1-(4-hidroxifenil)etil]ciclohexanol) u O-desmetilvenlafaxina o desmetilvenlafaxina), y a sus sales, solvatos, hidratos y polimorfos de las mismas. Tambien esta referida a una composicion farmaceutica. Dicho compuesto es util en el tratamiento de la depresion y/o como inhibidor selectivo de la reabsorcion de serotonina y la norepinefrina asi como en los trastornos vasomotores asociados a la menopausia
