Abstract

This utility model disclosed an improved plastic pipe coupling with no loose components. Plastic pipe coupling comprises a tubular body member and identical coupling nut members. Tubular body member has an identical and enlarged opposed end portions with external threads and its intermediate portion provided with spaced parallel ribs. Each of opposed end portions has stepped axial bores with the inner bore and intermediate bore defining therein an annular flange and shoulder, respectively. Each of coupling nut members is provided with internally threaded bore and conically shaped bore defining therein inner and outer shoulders. Each of coupling nut members has internal threads adapted to be screwed on tubular body member. A conical pipe grip insert has a cut-out portion to allow contraction when pressed along the conical bore and annular pipe gripping ribs at the inner surface thereof. A sleeve pusher is provided in the internally threaded bore. Conical pipe grip insert has an annular flange at the inner end thereof adapted to engage on outer shoulder of coupling nut member and the sleeve pusher is provided with an 0-ring gasket attached on inner end thereof which in turn is seated on shoulder of tubular body member.
