Abstract

This utility model disclosed a plastic pipe coupling which comprises a stepped tubular body member and a coupling nut member. The stepped tubular body member has its smaller and bigger end portions provided with external threads with the intermediate portion having holding ribs. The stepped tubular body member has axial bores defining therein inner and outer shoulders. The coupling nut member is provided with internally threaded bore and end bore. The coupling nut member has internal threads adapted to be screwed to the tubular body member. A pipe grip insert with annular flange at the inner end thereof is provided in the end bore. The pipe grip insert has spaced-annular pipe gripping ribs at the inner surface thereof. A sleeve pusher having an annular flange at the outer end thereof is provided in the internally threaded bore adapted to press the pipe grip insert. The sleeve pusher has an 0-ring at the inner end thereof which in turn is seated on the inner shoulder of the tubular body member.
