Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób utleniania α-pinenu, w obecności katalizatora, w atmosferze powietrza, pod ciśnieniem atmosferycznym, z intensywnością mieszania 500 obr/minutę, który charakteryzuje się tym, że stosuje się katalizator TS-1 o zawartości tytanu od 3,08% wag. do 9,92% wagowych, w ilości od 0,25% wag. do 10% wagowych w mieszaninie reakcyjnej, przy czym proces prowadzi się w temperaturze 60 - 140°C, w czasie od 0,25h do 72h godzin.
