Abstract
Otrzymaną mieszaninę ujednorodnia się przez ucieranie, a następnie wygrzewa w co najmniej 6 etapach, w zakresie temperatur od 600 do 1350°C, otrzymując produkt o ogólnym wzorze Y5-xSmxVO10, gdzie x mieści się w przedziale 0,0<x≤3,0.The subject of the application is a substitutional solid solution with limited solubility of components in a binary system of yttrium and samarium vanadates(V), of the general formula Y5-xSmxVO10, where 0.0<x≤3.0, in which the binary system is the system Y5VO10—Sm5VO10, which is one of the real cross-sections of the ternary system of V2O5-Sm2O3-Y2O3 oxides. The subject of the application is also a method for producing a substitutional solid solution with limited solubility of components in a binary system of yttrium and samarium vanadates(V), consisting in mixing the components and then homogenizing and heating the obtained mixtures, characterized in that the compounds Y5VO10 and Sm5VO10 are mixed in a molar ratio such that the sum of the contents of these compounds is always equal to 100.00 mol% and depends on the value of x appearing in the general formula of the substitutional solid solution Y5-xSmxVO5, wherein the content of Sm5VO10 is less than or equal to 60.00 mol%. The obtained mixture is homogenized by grinding and then heated in at least three stages of 12 hours each, in the temperature range from 1250°C to 1350°C, wherein after each stage the substrate mixture is cooled to room temperature and ground, obtaining a product of the general formula Y5-xSmxVO10, where 0.0<x≤3.0. A method for producing a substitutional solid solution with limited solubility of components in a binary system of yttrium and samarium vanadates(V), consisting in mixing the components, homogenizing, heating and cooling the obtained mixtures in the form of transition metal oxides, characterized in that V2O5, Sm2O3 and Y2O3 oxides are mixed in such a molar ratio that the V2O5 content is 16.67 mol%, the Sm2O3 content is greater than 0.00 and less than or equal to 50.00 mol%, and Y2O3 is greater than or equal to 33.33 mol%, wherein the sum of the Sm2O3 and Y2O3 contents is always 83.33 mol%. The resulting mixture is homogenized by grinding and then heated in at least 6 stages, in the temperature range from 600 to 1350°C, to obtain a product with the general formula Y5-xSmxVO10, where x is in the range 0.0<x≤3.0.
