Abstract

COMPOSIçõES DE CO-ADITIVO E MéTODOS PARA APLICAçãO DE COMPOSIçõES DE CO-ADITIVO EM COMPOSTOS DE POLIMERO NUCLEADO. A presente invenção refere-se ao desempenho ótico de agentes de nucleação e clareamento baseados em diacetal ou DBS usando-se um co-aditivo. O turvamento é uma medida da falta de claridade em material termoplástico ou plástico. Um baixo nível de turvamento é usualmente muito desejável, e agentes de nucleação/clareamento são designados para reduzir o grau de turvamento em um material plástico ou termoplástico. Um coaditivo pode ser usado, em conjunto com agentes de nucleação/clareamento em um polímero ou copolímero, para alcançar resultados ainda maiores em termos de clareamento aperfeiçoado (turvamento reduzido), ou em termos de uma temperatura de cristalização (Tc) do polímero. Um método para reduzir turvamento em artigos de polímero usando uma composição de coaditivo em adição aos agentes de nucleação e clareamento é descrito.
