Abstract
PRODUÇÃO DE ÁCIDO DICARBOXÍLICO EM EUCARIONTES. A presente invenção relaciona-se a uma célula microbiana eucariótica recombinante compreendendo uma sequência de nucleotídeo codificando uma enzima heteróloga catalisando a conversão de fosfoenolpiruvato ao oxaloacetato onde ATP é gerado. A invenção ainda relacionase a um processo para a preparação de um ácido dicarboxílico, tal como ácido succínico e ácido fumárico, compreendendo fermentar a célula microbiana eucariótica de acordo com a invenção em um meio de fermentação apropriado.
