Description
Zusatzpatent zum Hauptpatent Nr. 106778. Verfahren zur Herstellung eines substantiven Azofar bstoffes. Es wurde gefunden, dass man einen neuen substantiven Azofarbstoff erhält, wenn man auf 2 Mol. 1,
4'-Aminophenyl-5- pyrazolon-3-karbonsäure in beliebiger Rei henfolge Phosgen und 2 Mol. der aus 4- Amino - 3 - methoxyphenyl - azo - 2'- toluol - 4'- sulfosäure hergestellten Diazoverbindung ein wirken lässt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotes Pulver und färbt Baumwolle in sehr lichtechten, gelbstichigroten Tönen, die sich mit Hydrosulfit weiss ätzen lassen.
<I>Beispiel:</I> In die Lösung von 219 Teilen 1,4'-Amino- phenyl-5-pyrazolon-3-karbonsäure und 150 Teilen Soda in 3000 Teilen Wasser wird bei 40 bis<B>50'</B> C Phosgen eingeleitet, bis eine Probe sich nicht mehr diazotieren lässt. Der gebildete Harnstoff lässt sich durch Zusatz von Mineralsäure bis zur eben sauren Re aktion ausfällen. Er stellt ein weisses Pulver dar, das sich in Wasser und Alkohol schwer, in Alkalien und konzentrierter Schwefelsäure leicht löst.
232 Teile dieses neuen Zwischenproduktes werden nun in 3000 Teilen Wasser unter Zusatz von 170 Teilen Soda öder von 40 Tei len Ätznatron und 150 Teilen kristallisier tem Natriumacetat gelöst. Man kühlt mit Eis auf etwa 5 C und lässt dann eine Sus pension der aus 343 Teilen 4-Amino-3-meth- oxyphenyl-azo-2'-toluol-4'-sulfosäure herge stellten Diazoverbindung zufliessen. Der ge bildete Farbstoff wird kalt mit Kochsalz ge fällt, abfiltriert und getrocknet.

- PATENTANSPRUCH Verfahren zur Herstellung eines substan- tiven Azofarbstoffes, dadurch gekennzeich net, dass man auf 2 Mol. 1,4'-Aminophenyl- 5-pyrazolon-3-karbonsäure in beliebiger Rei henfolge Phosgen und 2 Mol. der aus 4- Amino - 3 - methogyphenyl - azo - 2' - toluol - 4' - sulfosäure hergestellten Diazoverbindung ein wirken lässt. Der neue Farbstoff bildet ein rotes Pulver und färbt Baumwolle in sehr lichtechten, gelbstichigroten Tönen, die sich mit Hydrosulfit weiss ätzen lassen.
