Es     wurde    gefunden, dass man einen neuen       Nüpenfarbstoff    erhält, wenn     nnan        Thionyl-          c:lilorid    auf     ?,S-Di-ss-nap@t@y@a,midobenzoc@i-          non    einwirken lässt.

   Die     Reaktion        wird          zweckm#issig    in Gegenwart von Verdünnungs  mitteln, wie Nitrobenzol,     gegebenenfalls    in       Gegenwart    von     säurebindenden        Dritteln,          durchgeführt.    Der neue     Farbstoff    bildet ein       clunkelrötlichbraunes    Pulver,

   das sich in       konzentrierter        Schwefelsäure    mit rötlich  blauer Farbe löst     und        Wolle        aus    der     Hy-          drosulfitl@üpe    in braunen Nuancen färbt.  



       Beispiel:     9,8 Teile     2,5-Di-ss-nitphthylamidobenzo-          chinori    werden in 150 Teilen Nitrobenzol  kalt mit 9 Teilen     Thionyl-chlorid    versetzt    und längere Zeit bei Zimmertemperatur ge  rührt. Hierauf wird filtriert, mit     Alkohol     gewaschen und     zetrocl:net.
