  Verfahren zur- Herstellung eines neuen     Itüpenfarbstoffes.       Es wurde gefunden,     .dass    man einen neuen       Küpenfarbstoff    erhält, wenn man Schwefel  dichlorid (S     Clia)    auf 2,5 -     Di    - p -     oxya.nikdo-          benzochinon    einwirken lässt. Die Reaktion  wird zweckmässig in Gegenwart von Ver  dünnungsmitteln, wie     Nitrobenzol,.    gege  benenfalls in Gegenwart von säurebindenden  Mitteln, durchgeführt.

   Der neue Farbstoff  bildet ein rotbraunes Pulver, das sich in kon  zentrierter Schwefelsäure mit blauer Farbe  löst und Wolle aus der     Hydrosulfitküpe    in  vollen hellbraunen Nuancen färbt.  



       Beispiel:     120 Teile trockenes Nitrobenzol und 8  Teile     2,5-Di-p-oxyanilidobenzochino.n    werden  unter     g        atem    Rühren auf     +    5   .abgekühlt    und im Laufe einer Stunde mit 2,6 Teilen       Schwefeldichlorid    (S<B>Cl,)</B> versetzt. Nach län  gerem Rühren wird filtriert, gewaschen und  getrocknet.
