Abstract

Las celulas hibridos humana fueron hechas vias fusion de celulas de rinon embrionico humano (293S) y celulas de linfoma de Burkitt modificadas (2B8). Las celulas fusion son ·tiles como celulas huespedes para la expresion recombinante de gene de mamiferos. Las ventajas del uso de estos clones hibridos de rinon humano - y celulas B, llamadas HKBs, para expresion de gen de mamifero, incluye (i) las celulas son negativas para la expresion de inmunoglobulina, (ii) las celulas crecen facilmente en plasma de medio libre de proteina (con o sin adicion de insulina recombinante) como cultura de suspension en un frasco de batir o en un fermentador (iii) las celulas son muy susceptibles para la transfeccion de ADN y (iv) las celulas segregan altos niveles de proteinas recombinantes heterologas, tales como anticuerpos monoclonales recombinantes, ICAM-1 soluble r IL-4 y r FVIII. .
