Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 (産業上の利用分野) この発明は、クロス貼着加硫ゴムシートとその製造方法
に関するものである。さらに詳しくは、この発明は、建
築材、産業用資材、あるいは電気材料等として有用な、
帆布、不織布、ガラスクロス、アスベストクロス、金属
クロス等のクロスを貼着した、高品質で、低コスト製造
可能なりロス貼着加硫ゴムシートとその製造方法に関す
るものである。
(従来の技術) 従来より、建築材、土木用資材、あるいは産業用資材や
電気材料等としてクロス貼着したゴムシートが用いられ
てきており、各種の素材構成からなるものが広く知られ
ている。
これらのクロス貼着ゴムシートは、クロス貼着によって
強度を大きくし、しかもゴムシートとしての耐水性、絶
縁性等の特徴を生かしたものであり、通常は、たとえば
添付した図面の第3図に示したように、天然ゴム、合成
ゴム等からなるゴムシート(ア)と、帆布、不織布、ア
スベストクロス、プラスチックシート等からなるクロス
(イ)とを、ゴム系の接着剤(つ)を用いて貼合わせる
ことにより製造してきている。
(発明が解決しようとする課題) しかしながら、たとえば第3図に示したこれまでのクロ
ス貼着ゴムシートの場合には、接着剤を使用して貼合わ
せていることから、その密着性が必すしも満足できるも
のではなく、耐久性が充分でないために接着面での剥離
が避けられず、また、接着剤の使用によって、生産コス
トの低減や生産工程の合理化が龍しいという欠点があっ
た。特に、大面積のシートを生産する場合には、このコ
スト低減や生産工程の合理化の難しさは、クロス貼着ゴ
ムシートの製造の大きな課題となっていた。
この発明は、以上の通りの事情に鑑みてなされたもので
あり、従来のクロス貼着ゴムシートの欠点を解消し、高
品質で耐久性にも優れ、しかも、生産コストおよび生産
工程数の低減や合理化をも可能とする新しいクロス貼着
ゴムシートとそのための製造方法を提供することを目的
としている。
(課題を解決するための手段) この発明は、上記の課題を解決するものとして、未加硫
ゴムシートとクロスとを加硫温度より低融点のプラスチ
ックフィルムを介在させて加圧加硫して接着一体化して
なることを特徴とするクロス貼着加硫ゴムシートを提供
する。
また、この発明は、未加硫ゴムシートとクロスとの間に
加硫温度より低融点のプラスチックフィルムを介在させ
て巻き取り、加圧加硫して接着−体止することを特徴と
するクロス貼着加硫ゴムシートの製造方法をも提供する
この発明において使用することのできる上記の未加硫ゴ
ムシートの種類には特段の限定はなく、たとえは、天然
ゴム、インプレンゴム、スチレンゴム、ブチルゴム、ブ
タジェンゴム、ニトリルゴム、EPTP、クロロプレン
ゴム、ハイパロン、ウレタンゴム、アクリルゴム等を例
示することができる。これらの未加硫ゴムシートは、−
殻内にはその厚みが0.5〜2fl程度のものとするこ
とができる。もちろん、この範囲は限定的なものではな
い6また、シートの大きさにも制限はなく、所要の幅と
長さのシートを用いることができる。
また、クロスについても同様に特段の限定はない。たと
えは帆布、不織布、ガラスクロス、金属クロス、アスベ
ストクロス、セラミッククロス、プラスチックの多孔シ
ートなどを例示することができる。これらクロスについ
ては、未加硫ゴムとの間に介在させるプラスチックフィ
ルムの投錨効果が期待できるものを好ましく用いること
かできる。
加硫温度より低融点のプラスチックフィルムとしては、
−殻内にはその厚みが5〜500μm程度の、加硫ゴム
との接着性の良好なポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、エ
チレン#酸ビニル共重合体等のプラスチックフィルムを
使用することができる。
具体的には、接着一体化する未加硫ゴムの種類に応じて
選ぶことかできる。
たとえばこれらの未加硫ゴム、クロス、そしてプラスチ
ックフィルムを用いてクロス貼着加硫ゴムシートを製造
するにあたっては、たとえば第1図に示したように、未
加硫ゴムシート(1)とクロス(2)との間に加硫温度
より低融点のプラスチックフィルム(3)を介在させる
。より具体的には第2図に示したように、この3層の・
積層シートを巻き取り、ロール状体(4)として加硫処
理装置に入れて、加圧加硫する。
この時の加硫条件は、特にその値に限定はないが、−殻
内には2〜8 kg / dの圧力と、120〜160
℃程度の温度において、0.5〜4時間程度の加硫操作
とすることができる。
この加圧加硫操作によって、従来のように接着剤を用い
ることなく、ゴムシートとクロスとを接着一体化したク
ロス貼着加硫ゴムシートが得られる。
もちろん、加硫操作のための装置についても特に限定は
ない、この装置は条件とともに、従来と同様とすること
ができる。
(作 用) この発明においては、従来のクロス貼着ゴムシートとは
異って、ゴム系接着剤を用いることなく、未加硫ゴムシ
ートとクロスとを、その間に介在させたプラスチックフ
ィルムによって密着させる。
これにより高品質、低コストなりロス貼着ゴムシートが
実現される。
この場合、プラスチックフィルムが加硫シートに接着し
、かつ、クロスにはこのプラスチックフィルムが投錨し
て強固な接着を実現する。
(実施例) 次に実施例を示し、ざらに詳しくこの発明のクロス貼着
加硫ゴムシートとその製造方法について説明する。
すなわち、まず、厚さ1.0市のスチレンゴムシートと
、厚さ1.5間の帆布との間に、400μm厚のポリエ
チレンフィルムを介在させ、これを巻き取って4 kg
 / dlの圧力で、かつ、150℃の温度において約
1時間加硫した。
この加硫操作により、密着強度に優れ、耐久性の良好な
帆布貼着のスチレンゴムシート(加硫)を得た。この時
の製造コストは、従来のゴム系接着剤使用の方法に比べ
て、約172に低減された。
同様にして未加硫ゴムシートとしてブチルゴム、ニトリ
ルゴムのシートを用い、同様のクロス貼着加硫ゴムシー
トを得た。その密着強度や耐水性、耐久性等の性能は良
好で、製造コストの低減は極めて大きなものとなった。
(発明の効果) この発明によって、以上詳しく説明した通り、品質の良
好なりロス貼着加硫ゴムシートか低コストで製造可能と
なる6 接着面における強度、耐久性は従来法以上のレベルにま
で向上する。

  1. (1)未加硫ゴムシートとクロスとを加硫温度より低融
    点のプラスチックフィルムを介在させて加圧加硫して接
    着一体化してなることを特徴とするクロス貼着加硫ゴム
    シート。
  2. (2)未加硫ゴムシートとクロスとの間にプラスチック
    フィルムを介在させて巻き取り、加圧加硫して接着一体
    化することを特徴とするクロス貼着加硫ゴムシートの製
    造方法。
