【産業上の利用分野】
本考案はエンジンの排気ガスを利用したエア・カーテンを備えた、自動車のバ ックミラー装置に関する。

【従来の技術】
従来、実願昭４９−１０５７８２号（実開昭５１−３４１３８号公報）の願書 に添付した明細書及び図面の内容を撮影したマイクロフィルム（昭和５１年３月 １３日 特許庁発行）によって、自動車のボデーの内側に備えた電動送風器から エアを供給することで作動するエア・カーテンをもって、ミラーの鏡面への水滴 付着を防止するようにした形式のエア・カーテン付きサイドミラーが開示されて いる。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
上記従来の技術において述べたエア・カーテン付きサイドミラーは、電動送風 器がバッテリーに負担をかけるため好ましくない。
【０００４】 本考案はバッテリーに負担をかけないエア・カーテン付きバックミラー、すな わちエンジンの排気ガスを利用したエア・カーテン装置の付いた新規の自動車の バックミラー装置を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】
上記目的を達成するために本考案に係わる自動車のバックミラー装置は、エン ジン及びバックミラーを備えた自動車において、ミラーの前面にエア・カーテン を形成する状態で設けたエア・カーテン装置と、エア・カーテン装置にエアを供 給する状態で設けた、エンジンのエキゾーストパイプから分流した排気ガスによ り作動するコンプレッサをもつものである。

【作用】
本考案に係わる自動車のバックミラー装置は、エンジンの排気ガスを利用した エア・カーテンを備えているものであって、バッテリーに負担をかけないもので ある。

本考案は上記の通りであるので、所期の目的を完全に達成する優れた効果を有 するものである。

【実施例】
図に示す実施例は、サイドミラーと通称されているバックミラー１におけるカ バー部２の内側にエア導入空間３を設け、このエア導入空間３にエアを送り込む 圧縮エア・タンク６をエンジンルーム７内に設け、エンジン１２と上記エア導入 空間３を供給チューブ４等で連結すると共にエア導入空間３の先端縁にミラー１ の前面の上から下方に向ってエアを噴出するエア・カーテン形成用ノズル５を設 け、このノズル５から噴出される空気流によって雨水やホコリの遮断を果たす幕 （エア・カーテン）を形成するようにする。
【０００９】 また、エンジン１２のエキゾーストパイプ８から分流した排気ガスにより作動 するコンプレッサ（ターボチャジー）９をエンジンルーム７内に設け、このコン プレッサ９と上記圧縮エア・タンク６を送りチューブ１０により連結すると共に 上記供給チューブ４の途中に運転席からの操作でオン・オフする開閉弁１１を設 けたものである。

    車において、ミラーの前面にエア・カーテンを形成する
    状態で設けたエア・カーテン装置と、エア・カーテン装
    置にエアを供給する状態で設けた、エンジンのエキゾー
    ストパイプから分流した排気ガスにより作動するコンプ
    レッサをもつことを特徴とする自動車のバックミラー装
    置。
