Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.流動する媒体中に浮遊する粒子のいくつかの特性を同時に検出するフロー サイトメトリック光学系であって、 粒子がほぼ一度に一つずつ通過するフローセルと、 光を光源からフローセル内の流動粒子上へ送る光伝達光学系と、 光を流動粒子から受け取り、第一の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検 出器へ送る側方角度光学収集システムと、 光を流動粒子から受け取り、第二の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検 出器へ送る前方角度光学収集システムとを備え、 側方角度光学収集システムが、第一の一組の検出器の方へ光を送るコンデンサ レンズを備え、コンデンサレンズの射出瞳が、コンデンサレンズの後焦点面に配 置され、第一の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検出器の感光表面が、射 出瞳の像がその感光表面に位置決めされるようにコンデンサレンズの後焦点面の 共役点に配置され、 前方角度光学収集システムが、第二の一組の検出器の方へ光 を送る収集レンズを備え、収集レンズ射出瞳が、収集レンズの後焦点面内に配置 され、第二の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検出器の感光表面が、収集 レンズの後焦点面に配置される光学系。 2.光源がレーザである請求の範囲第1項に記載の光学系。 3.第一の一組の検出器が、一つまたは複数の光電子増倍管を備える請求の範 囲第1項に記載の光学系。 4.コンデンサレンズがコンパウンドレンズであり、コンパウンドコンデンサ レンズが仮想であり、レンズ内に配置される請求の範囲第1項に記載の光学系。 5.第二の一組の検出器が、単一のシリコンフォトダイオードを備え、粒子か ら散乱する光の角度受け入れ範囲が、フォトダイオードの感光表面の直線寸法に よって決定される請求の範囲第1項に記載の光学系。 6.第二の一組の検出器が、二つ以上の要素を備えるアレイ検出器を備え、各 要素が、その要素の半径方向直線制限寸法によって決定される粒子から散乱する 光の角度受け入れ範囲を画定する請求の範囲第2項に記載の光学系。 7.コンデンサレンズが、コンデンサと第一の一組の検出器 との間に配置された位置にフローセル媒体/粒子ストリームの少なくとも一つの 像を形成する請求の範囲第1項に記載の光学系。 8.側方角度光学系がさらに、少なくとも一つのフローセル媒体/粒子ストリ ーム像に配置された少なくとも一つのアパーチャを備え、アパーチャが、光を第 一の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検出器に制限する請求の範囲第11 項に記載の光学系。 9.フローセル内のストリームのふらつき、またはフローセルの交換、または 媒体/粒子ストリーム形成手段の交換の焦点ずれ効果が、検出器で受け取る信号 に悪影響を与えないように、アパーチャの寸法がフローセル媒体/粒子ストリー ムの寸法よりも大きい請求の範囲第12項に記載の光学系。 10.側方角度光学収集システムがさらに、アパーチャに配置され、あるいは アパーチャの近くに配置された視野レンズを備え、視野レンズが、コンパウンド レンズを備え、第一の一組の検出器のうちの少なくとも一つの検出器の感光表面 でコンデンサ射出瞳の像を生成する請求の範囲第12項に記載の光学系。 11.光伝達光学系が、入射レーザ光線の軌道に悪影響を与 えずにフローセル内のレーザ光線の横方向並進を可能にする微調整要素を備え、 微調整要素が、調整可能なエアスペースによって分離された一対のくさびプリズ ムを備え、プリズム対が、レーザ集束レンズとフローセルとの間に配置される請 求の範囲第10項に記載の光学系。 12.流動する媒体中に浮遊する粒子のいくつかの特性を同時に検出するフロ ーサイトメトリック光学系であって、 粒子が通過するフローセルと、 光をレーザ光源からフローセル内の流動粒子土へ送る光学系と、 光を流動粒子から受け取り、第一の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検 出器へ送る側方角度光学収集システムと、 光を流動粒子から受け取り、第二の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検 出器へ送る前方角度光学収集システムとを備え、 側方角度光学収集システムが、第一の一組の検出器の方へ光を送るコンデンサ レンズを備え、前記コンデンサレンズの射出瞳が、前記コンデンサレンズの後焦 点面に配置され、前記第一の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検出器の感 光表面が、 前記射出瞳の像がその感光表面に位置決めされるように前記コンデンサレンズの 後焦点面の共役点に配置され、 前方角度光学収集システムが、第二の一組の検出器の方へ光を送る収集レンズ を備え、収集レンズ射出瞳が、収集レンズの後焦点面内に配置され、第二の一組 の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検出器の感光表面が、前記射出瞳の像がその 感光表面に位置決めされるように前記収集レンズの後焦点面の共役点に配置され る光学系。 13.第一の一組の検出器が、一つまたは複数の光電子増倍管を備える請求の 範囲第12項に記載の光学系。 14.コンデンサレンズがコンパウンドレンズであり、コンパウンドコンデン サレンズが仮想であり、レンズ内に配置される請求の範囲第12項に記載の光学 系。 15.第二の一組の検出器が、二つ以上の要素を備えるアレイ検出器を備え、 各要素が、その要素の半径方向直線制限寸法によって決定される粒子から散乱す る光の角度受け入れ範囲を画定する請求の範囲第12項に記載の光学系。 16.コンデンサレンズが、コンデンサと第一の一組の検出器との間に配置さ れた位置にフローセル媒体/粒子ストリーム の少なくとも一つの像を形成する請求の範囲第12項に記載の光学系。 17.側方角度光学系がさらに、少なくとも一つのフローセル媒体/粒子スト リーム像に配置された少なくとも一つのアパーチャを備え、アパーチャが、光を 第一の一組の検出器のうちの一つまたは複数の検出器に制限し、フローセル内の ストリームのふらつき、またはフローセルの交換、または媒体/粒子ストリーム 形成手段の交換の焦点ずれ効果が、検出器で受け取る信号に悪影響を与えないよ うに、アパーチャの寸法がフローセル媒体/粒子ストリームの寸法よりも大きい 請求の範囲第12項に記載の光学系。 18.側方角度光学収集システムがさらに、アパーチャに配置され、あるいは アパーチャの近くに配置された視野レンズを備え、視野レンズが、第一の一組の 検出器のうちの少なくとも一つの検出器の感光表面でコンデンサ射出瞳の像を生 成する請求の範囲第17項に記載の光学系。 19.光伝達光学系が、入射レーザ光線の軌道に悪影響を与えずにフローセル 内のレーザ光線の横方向並進を可能にする微調整要素を備える請求の範囲第12 項に記載の光学系。 20.微調整要素が、調整可能なエアスペースによって分離された一対のくさ びプリズムを備え、プリズム対が、レーザ集束レンズとフローセルとの間に配置 される請求の範囲第19項に記載の光学系。
