  1. 半導体基板が載置されたサセプターを回転させながら気
    相成長を行なう気相成長装置において、前記サセプター
    の少なくとも外周囲部を支えるサセプターホルダーを設
    け、該ホルダーを回転させることにより前記サセプター
    を回転させることを特徴とする気相成長装置。
