Abstract
Polimerii nereticulari nepolipeptidici, ce conţin catenele laterale lipofile, ce se descompun biologic, conţin fragmentele diesterice metilenice ale formulei (1):CO-O-C (R1R2)-O-CO (1)(unde R1 şi R2 fiecare reprezintă atomul de hidrogen sau grupa organică monovalentă cuplată la carbon sau R1 şi R2 împreună formează grupa organică bivalentă, cuplată la carbon), datorită cărora fragmentele lipofile sunt descompuse biologic prin scindare cu formarea polimerului solubil în apă.
