Abstract
En ny romoppvarmer er omtalt. En foring (12) inneholder en varmekilde (1) og innbefatter åpninger (16, 17) som tillater konveksjon av lutt gjennom foringen (12). Varmekilden (1) omfatter et par av kanaler (2, 3), som danner mellom dem et luk- ket oljefylt kammer i hvilket et elektrisk varmeelement er holdt. Åpningene i forin- gen (12) tillater strålevarme fra varmekilden (1) unnslipper fra foringen. På grunn av at varmekilden er holdt innen foringen (12), kan den varmes opp til meget høye temperaturer. For å legge til rette for oljeekspansjonen, fyller kun oljen delvis kammeret i varmekilden og kammeret er avdelt i et nedre væskekammer (8), som ved romtemperatur inneholder olje. og et utvidet øvre ekspansjonskammer (7) som romtemperatur ikke inneholder olje.
