Abstract
Sposób otrzymywania białka rekombinowanego z prekursora, korzystnie insulin ssaczych w tym insulin ludzkich i ich analogów polega na tym, że używa się proteazy hydrolizującej jedno lub więcej wiązań peptydowych znajdujących się w tym białku, przy czym proteaza przerywa wiązanie peptydowe od strony C końca aminokwasu zasadowego, kiedy aminokwas ten występuje jako drugi w kolejności po innym zasadowym lub obojętnym aminokwasie, a kolejność ta umożliwia specyficzne rozpoznanie obydwu aminokwasów przez proteazę. Wynalazek znajduje zastosowanie w biotechnologii i przemyśle farmaceutycznym.
