Abstract
Przedmiotem zgłoszenia jest sposób utleniania geraniolu w obecności katalizatora, polegający na mieszaniu geraniolu z katalizatorem w ilości od 0,5% wagowych do 5% wagowych względem geraniolu, pod ciśnieniem atmosferycznym, z intensywnością mieszania 500 obrotów/minutę, w atmosferze tlenu. Proces utleniania prowadzi się w obecności tlenu podawanego z butli przez bełkotkę stosując przepływ tlenu 40 ml/minutę, w czasie od 15 minut do 360 minut. Istota wynalazku charakteryzuje się tym, że jako katalizator stosuje się almandyn (granat), przy czym proces prowadzi się w temperaturze 75°C-120°C. Korzystnie stosuje się jako katalizator almandyn o składzie: SiO2 39%, A12O3 21%, Fe2O3 17%, CaO 9,5%, Fe2O 8%, MgO 5%, TiO2 0,05%. Korzystnie do reaktora szklanego wprowadza się w pierwszej kolejności geraniol, później katalizator, na samym końcu doprowadza się tlen przez bełkotkę.The subject of the application is a method for oxidizing geraniol in the presence of a catalyst, consisting of mixing geraniol with a catalyst in an amount from 0.5% by weight to 5% by weight relative to geraniol, under atmospheric pressure, with a stirring intensity of 500 rpm, in an oxygen atmosphere. The oxidation process is carried out in the presence of oxygen supplied from a cylinder through a sparger using an oxygen flow of 40 ml/minute, for a time from 15 minutes to 360 minutes. The invention is characterized in that almandine (garnet) is used as the catalyst, and the process is carried out at a temperature of 75°C-120°C. Preferably, the catalyst used is almandine with the composition: SiO2 39%, Al2O3 21%, Fe2O3 17%, CaO 9.5%, Fe2O 8%, MgO 5%, TiO2 0.05%. Preferably, geraniol is introduced into the glass reactor first, then the catalyst, and finally oxygen is introduced through a sparger.
