Abstract
Se describe método para transportar un material bajo un haz de electrones; y aparato correspondiente para irradiar dicho material. El material puede ser un material de biomasa (por ejemplo, biomasa vegetal, biomasa animal y biomasa de residuos municipales) que puede procesarse para producir intermedios y productos útiles, tales como energía, combustibles, alimentos o materiales. El material de biomasa puede ser transportado por un transportador, bajo un haz de electrones producido por un acelerador de electrones. El transportador opcionalmente puede ser enfriado con un líquido refrigerante y también vibrar para facilitar la exposición al haz de electrones.
