  • This prepolymer was further solid-phase polymerized at 230° C for a residence time of 15 hours to obtain an ethylene-2 , 6-naphthalene dicarboxylate polymer for bottles having an intrinsic viscosity of 0.65.
  • Bottles were produced in the same manner as in Example 13 except that the above ethylene-2 , 6-naphthalene dicarboxylate polymer for bottles and the pigment (1) used in Example 13 were blended in a weight ratio shown in Table 4. The physical properties of these bottles are shown in Table 4.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un produit moulé creux qui comprend une composition polyester contenant un polymère éthylène-2,6-naphtalène dicarboxylate et au moins un absorbeur de rayons ultraviolets dans une quantité comprise entre 0,01 à 5 % en poids sur la base du polymère éthylène-2,6-naphtalène dicarboxylate. Ledit produit possède un facteur de biréfringence (Δn) de la partie cylindre de 0,17 ou plus. L'invention concerne également un procédé de préparation de ladite composition.
