Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 可撓性の同軸ケーブルにおいて、少なくとも1つの内側導線および該内 側導線を囲んでいる独立気泡の泡誘電体を含むコアと、該コアを緊密に囲んでい る管状の金属被覆とを具備しており、前記同軸ケーブルが光速の90%以上の伝 搬速度(Vp)を有することを特徴とする同軸ケーブル。 2. さらに加えて、前記管状金属被覆を囲む保護ジャケットを具備すること を特徴とする請求項1記載の同軸ケーブル。 3. 前記保護ジャケットが、前記管状金属被覆に接着剤で接着されることを 特徴とする請求項2記載の同軸ケーブル。 4. 前記管状金属被覆が、前記コアに接着された電気的および機械的に連続 な平滑壁金属管を具備することを特徴とする請求項3記載の同軸ケーブル。 5. 前記少なくとも1つの内側導線が、前記泡誘電体に接着されて前記コア を形成することを特徴とする請求項4記載の同軸ケーブル。 6. 前記少なくとも1つの内側導線が、前記泡誘電体に接着されて前記コア を形成することを特徴とする請求項1記載の同軸ケーブル。 7. 前記独立記法泡誘電体が勾配密度を有し、前記勾配密度が前記誘電体の 内側表面から前記誘電体の外側表面に向かって半径方向に増加し、前記誘電体の 前記外側表面が前記管状金属被覆に接着されていることを特徴とする請求項1記 載の同軸ケーブル。 8. 前記泡誘電体が、内側泡誘電体層および外側誘電体層を具備し、前記外 側誘電体層が、前記内側誘電体層の密度より大きな密度を有することを特徴とす る請求項7記載の同軸ケーブル。 9. 前記外側誘電体層が、未発泡の誘電体外皮であることを特徴とする請求 項8記載の同軸ケーブル。 10. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体が、約0.22g/cc以下の密度を有する発 泡ポリオレフィンを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の同軸ケーブル。 11. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体が、約0.19g/cc以下の密度を有する発 泡ポリオレフィンを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の同軸ケーブル。 12. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体が、約0.17g/cc以下の密度を有する発 泡ポリオレフィンを含んでいることを特徴とする請求項1記載の同軸ケーブル。 13. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体が、低密度ポリエチレンと高密度ポリエチレン の配合物であることを特徴とする請求項10記載の同軸ケーブル。 14. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体のセルの最大セル直径が170ミクロンである ことを特徴とする請求項10記載の同軸ケーブル。 15. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体のセルの平均セル直径が約90から130ミク ロンであることを特徴とする請求項10記載の同軸ケーブル。 16. 前記ケーブルの最小曲げ半径がケーブル直径の10倍未満であること を特徴とする請求項10記載の同軸ケーブル。 17. 少なくとも1つの内側導線および該内側導線を囲んでいるポリオレフ ィンの独立気泡の泡誘電体を含むコアと、該コアを緊密に囲んでいる管状の金属 被覆とを具備しており、前記独立気泡の泡誘電体が0.22g/cm3以下の密 度を有し、且つ吸熱性核生成剤の残留物を含んでいることを特徴とする同軸ケー ブル。 18. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体が、さらに発熱性核生成剤の残留物を含んでい ることを特徴とする請求項17記載の同軸ケーブル。 19. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体が、さらに熱可塑性固着剤の残留物を含んでい ることを特徴とする請求項17記載の同軸ケーブル。 20. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体が、低密度ポリエチレンと高密度ポリエチレン との配合物であることを特徴とする請求項17記載の同軸ケーブル。 21. 前記ケーブルが、光速の90%の伝搬速度を有することを特徴とする 請求項17記載の同軸ケーブル。 22. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体のセルの最大セル直径が、170ミクロンであ ることを特徴とする請求項17記載の同軸ケーブル。 23. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体のセルの平均セル直径が、約90から130ミ クロンであることを特徴とする請求項17記載の同軸ケーブル。 24. 前記独立気泡泡誘電体が勾配密度を有し、前記勾配密度が前記誘電体 の内側表面から前記誘電体の外側表面に向けて半径方向に増加することを特徴と する請求項17記載の同軸ケーブル。 25. 前記泡誘電体が、内側泡誘電体層および外側泡誘電体層を具備し、前 記外側泡誘電体層が前記内側泡誘電体層の密度より大きいことを特徴とする請求 項24記載の同軸ケーブル。 26. 前記外側誘電体層が未発泡の誘電体外皮であることを特徴とする請求 項24記載の同軸ケーブル。 27. 少なくとも1つの内側導電および該内側導線を囲んでこれに接着され ている独立気泡ポリエチレン泡誘電体を含むコアを具備する同軸ケーブルであっ て、前記独立気泡の泡誘電体が0.22g/cm3以下の密度を有し、電気的お よび機械的に連続な平坦壁管状金属被覆が前記コアを緊密に囲んでこれに接着さ れており、保護ジャケットが前記管状金属被覆を緊密に囲んでおり、前記同軸ケ ーブルが光速の90%の伝搬速度(Vp)を有することを特徴とする同軸ケーブ ル。 28. 導線を押し出し成形装置中に進行させて、ポリオレフィン、吸熱性核 生成剤およびブロー剤を含んでいる発泡性重合体組成物を押し出し成形する工程 と、 前記発泡性重合体組成物を発泡させ海綿状にさせて、前記進行する導線を囲む 海綿状泡誘電体からなるケーブルコアを形成する工程と、 前記ケーブルコアの周りに電気的および機械的に連続な金属被覆を形成して同 軸ケーブルを製造する工程と、 を含むことを特徴とする同軸ケーブルを製造する方法。 29. さらに加えて、前記のように形成された同軸ケーブルを押し出し成型 装置中を進行させて、前記金属被覆の周りに重合体組成物を押し出し成形して前 記同軸ケーブルの周りに保護ジャケットを形成する工程、を含むことを特徴とす る請求項28記載の方法。 30. 前記発泡性重合体組成物が、発熱性核生成剤をさらに含むことを特徴 とする請求項28記載の方法。 31. さらに加えて、第2の重合体組成物を前記発泡性重合体組成物上に押 し出し成形する工程であって、前記発泡性重合体組成物を発泡させ海綿状にさせ る工程の後で、前記第2の重合体組成物が前記海綿状発泡性重合体組成物より大 きな密度を有する工程、を含むことを特徴とする請求項28記載の方法。 32. 前記発泡性重合体組成物を押し出し成形する工程が、前記発泡性重合 体組成物および前記発泡性重合体組成物を囲んでいる第2の重合体組成物を共有 押し出し成形する工程を含み、前記発泡性重合体組成物を発泡させて海綿状にす る工程の後で、前記第2の重合体組成物が前記海綿状発泡性重合体組成物より大 きな密度を有することを特徴とする請求項28記載の方法。 33. 前記発泡性重合体組成物が、熱可塑性固着剤をさらに含むことを特徴 とする請求項28記載の方法。
