Abstract

(57)【要約】 【目的】集積回路素子を埋め込んだ多層基板において、
表面に取り付ける部品の半田等のロウ材の印刷を確実に
行うことができ、また多層基板表面を有効に使用出来る
混成回路基板を提供すること。 【構成】多層基板１と集積回路素子２と金属細線３と蓋
４ａにより構成され、集積回路素子を多層基板に埋め込
み、金属細線で接続し上から蓋で覆う時において、多層
基板に蓋取り付け用の段差を設け、表面からはみ出さな
いように蓋で覆う。

【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、混成回路基板への部品
の取り付け方に関する。
【０００２】
【従来の技術】多層基板に部品を埋め込む例としては、
特開昭５７−１５９０９０に示されている。この例では
集積回路素子２を多層基板１に固定し、金属細線３で接
続し、蓋４で覆っている。
【０００３】
【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、上記従
来技術では多層基板の表面より蓋がはみ出ている為、基
板上に部品を取り付ける際の半田等のロウ材の印刷が不
確実に行われる可能性があり、自動取付機による部品の
取り付けが確実に行われない等の問題がある。
【０００４】そこで、本発明では多層基板への部品の取
り付けにおいて、経済的かつ確実に部品を取り付ける事
が出来る多層基板を提供する事を目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】上記目的は、集積回路素
子の埋め込みの穴に、多層基板上面の表面より高くなら
ない様に段差を設け、そこに蓋をする事により解決され
る。

【作用】集積回路素子を多層基板に埋め込み、その埋め
込みの穴からはみ出さず蓋をする事により、基板上に部
品を取り付ける際の半田等のロウ材の印刷を確実に行う
事が出来る。さらに、集積回路素子の部分の気密をその
部分だけ行えば良く、その後の扱いが容易になる為経済
的である。また、穴からはみ出てない分基板を有効に使
用する事が出来る。

【実施例】以下、本発明の実施例を図面に基づいて説明
する。図１において、１は多層基板、２は集積回路素
子、３は金属細線、４ａは蓋、５は部品である。
【０００８】多層基板１の集積回路素子取り付け用の穴
の金属化層に半田等のロウ材を付け、集積回路素子２を
固定する。次に、該素子と多層基板１の内部回路を金属
細線３で接続する。そして、その上を集積回路素子２の
取り付け部分の気密が保てるように、かつ、取り付け部
分の穴からはみ出ないような蓋４ａを段差６ａに入れ、
段差６ａの金属化層に固定する。
【０００９】また、図２に示す様に蓋４ｂの断面図が、
逆台形状の様な形状にし、蓋取付部分の段差６ｂも蓋の
形状に合うようにして、上から蓋をして固定するという
例も考えられる。

【発明の効果】本発明によれば、段差を設けて蓋をする
為、多層基板表面よりはみ出さず多層基板表面に部品の
取り付けの為の半田等のロウ材の印刷が確実に行える。
また、高密度に部品を取り付けるのにも有効である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】集積回路素子を埋め込んだ多層基板と、集
    積回路素子と多層基板内の回路とを接続する金属細線
    と、蓋と、多層基板表面に取り付ける部品により構成
    し、蓋の上表面が多層基板の上表面と同一高さ、もしく
    は低くなる様に、多層基板表面に蓋取付用の段差を設け
    たことを特徴とする混成回路基板。
