Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本発明は、ポリエチレン等、加熱時において粘着性を有
する材料の溶着装置に関するものである。
従来例の構成とその問題点 従来の溶着熱板は第1図にその具体構成を示すように、
アルミ製のブロック1に複数のカートリッジヒーター2
と温度センサーを平行に埋め込んだ構造の溶着熱板であ
った。このような溶着熱板では、被溶着物が加熱時に軟
化する際被溶着物が熱板に付着し、さらに平面的に溶着
する際には、熱板の溶着面が固いため自由度がなく均一
な溶着ができなかった。
上記問題点を解消すべく考案された熱板は第2図にその
具体構成を示すように、アルミ板4にシリコンゴム5を
接着し、シリコンゴム5をアルミ板4を包み込むよう
に、ボルト7でアルミ板4に取り付けられたテフロンシ
ートを有するアルミ板を前記熱板に取り付けた溶着熱板
である。このような熱板では高温加熱時にシリコン5を
アルミ板4に接着している接着材が溶け、はずれ、さら
に溶着時における被溶着材との接触面積が大きいため、
被溶着材が熱板に付着する問題があった。
発明の目的 本発明は、前記従来の欠点を解消するものである。
発明の構成 本発明は、一平面上に溝部を有したアルミニウム板と、
前記アルミニウム板の熱膨張率より大きい熱膨張率を有
し、前記アルミニウム板の溝部に、溝部を有する面より
一部突出するようにはめ込まれるテフロン棒と、前記ア
ルミニウム板を加熱する加熱手段とからなり、溝部に前
記テフロン棒がはめ込まれた前記アルミニウム板を前記
加熱手段により加熱し、前記テフロン棒およびアルミニ
ウム板を熱膨張させることによって、前記テフロン棒を
前記アルミニウム板に固定した状態で、被溶着物に対し
て前記テフロン棒の突出部を押し当てるように加圧し溶
着を行うものである。
実施例の説明 以下に本発明の一実施例を第3図〜第7図に基づいて説
明する。第3図は本発明における被溶着物の一例を示し
たものである。周囲にポリエチレン被覆10を有した線
材9を、パレット8上に配列し、その上に両面をポリエ
チレンライニング12されたアルミ板11を置き、前記ア
ルミ板11の上から熱板で加圧し、線材9とアルミ板1
1を相方のポリエチレンによって溶着させるものであ
る。前記熱板を第4図に基づいて説明する。複数のカー
トリッジヒーター2と、温度センサー3を平行に埋め込
んだアルミ製のブロック1の下に台形状の溝加工をほど
こされ、その溝に同じく台形断面を有するテフロン棒1
3(熱膨張率:8.5×10-5/℃)をはめこんだアルミ板
14(熱膨張率:2.1×10-6/℃)を取りつけたもので
ある。この時台形溝は第5図に示すように、常温におい
ては、テフロン棒13がスムーズに出し入れできる寸法
に加工されているが、カートリッジヒーター2によって
熱板が加熱されると、アルミとテフロンの熱膨張の差に
より、第6図のようにテフロン棒13は溝にしっかりと
固定される。その全体を示したのが第7図である。この
状態で熱板は第3図のA方向から加圧する。この時パレ
ット上の線材9及びアルミ板11のポリエチレンがテフ
ロン棒13によって加熱され前記ポリエチレンが溶け、
線材9とアルミ板11が溶着される。また熱板を上に持
ち上げるときは、ポリエチレンはテフロンに付着するこ
となく、分離することができるものである、この時テフ
ロンはある一定の温度に達すると軟化するので被溶着物
の平面度にばらつきがあっても、テフロン棒がそれにな
らうので均一な溶着が可能である。
発明の効果 このようにこの発明は熱溶融性の被溶着物を均一に溶着
することができ、かつ熱板には被溶着物が付着しない特
徴を有している。

Claims (2)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】一平面上に溝部を有したアルミニウム板
    と、 前記アルミニウム板の熱膨張率より大きい熱膨張率を有
    し、前記アルミニウム板の溝部に、溝部を有する面より
    一部突出するようにはめ込まれるテフロン棒と、 前記アルミニウム板を加熱する加熱手段とからなり、 溝部に前記テフロン棒がはめ込まれた前記アルミニウム
    板を前記加熱手段により加熱し、前記テフロン棒および
    アルミニウム板を熱膨張させることによって、前記テフ
    ロン棒を前記アルミニウム板に固定した状態で、被溶着
    物に対して前記テフロン棒の突出部を押し当てるように
    加圧し溶着を行う溶着装置。
  2. 【請求項2】アルミニウム板の一平面上に、複数のテフ
    ロン棒を並列させてはめ込んだ特許請求の範囲第1項記
    載の溶着装置。
