Claims (28)
- 1.a)図1においてヌクレオチドNa928〜2273で画されるDNA配列 により保持され、又はb)a)で述べられた上記配列と少くとも50%の相同性 を有する ことを特徴とし、植物のミトコンドリアゲノムに存在する場合にその植物で細胞 質雄性不稔性を付与する、オグラ不稔性DNA配列。
- 2.図1においてヌクレオチド928〜1569で画される配列により保持され るか又はその配列と少くとも50%の相同性を有し、かつ、稔性不稔性植物のミ トコンドリアでRNAに転写されることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載のDNA 配列。
- 3.a)図1においてヌクレオチドNa928〜1569で画される配列により 保持され、又はb)a)で述べられた上記配列と少くとも50%の相同性を有す る オグラ不稔性DNA配列を含んでなることを特徴とし、植物の細胞質に存在する 場合にその植物で細胞質雄性不稔性を付与する、組換え植物核又はミトコンドリ アゲノム。
- 4.図1においてヌクレオチドNa928〜1569で画される配列により保持 されるか又はその配列と少くとも50%の相同性を有するオグラ不稔性DNA配 列を含んでなることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の組換え植物核又はミトコン ドリアゲノム。
- 5.組換えミトコンドリアゲノムが: −翻訳開始に用いられる2つのホルミルメチオニン転移RNA遺伝子のうち一方 を保持し、 −シトクロムオキシダーゼのサブユニットNa1をコードするCox1遺伝子を 保持する、 オグラゲノムの二つの断片の一方及び/又は他方のすべて又は一部を含まないこ とを特徴とし、または、上記断片が不活性である、請求項3又は4に記載の核又 はミトコンドリアゲノム。
- 6.BgII切断後の10.7kb断片及びNruI切断後の11kb断片によ り保持される配列の一部を欠き、これらの断片がCox1プローブとのハイブリ ッド形成により示されることを特徴とする、請求項3〜5のいずれか一項に記載 の核又はミトコンドリアゲノム。
- 7.NruI切断後に15kb断片を与え、SaII切断後に5.1kb断片を 与え及びBgII切断後に18.5kb断片を与え、図1に示された配列の塩基 389〜1199で画される配列に対応するプローブとのハイブリッド形成によ り示される配列の一部を欠く、請求項3〜6のいずれか一項に記載の核又はミト コンドリアゲノム。
- 8.NcoI切断後に2.5kb断片を与え、NruI切断後に6.8kb断片 を与え及びSaII切断後に4.4kb断片を与える配列を含むことを特徴とす る、請求項3〜7のいずれか一項に記載の核又はミトコンドリアゲノム。
- 9.請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載のDNA配列とは別に、その配列の翻訳 産物をミトコンドリア内に移入することができるプレ配列を含むことを特徴とす る核ゲノム。
- 10.ゲノムがミトコンドリアゲノムである、請求項3〜8のいずれか一項に記 載のゲノム。
- 11.請求項10に記載のゲノムを含むことを特徴とするミトコンドリア。
- 12.請求項10に記載のミトコンドリアゲノムを含み、核ゲノムと同種又はこ の核ゲノムと適合する他種の葉緑体を含むことを特徴とする細胞質。
- 13.その植物の核ゲノムと適合するジュウジバナ科葉緑体と請求項11に記載 のミトコンドリアとを含んでなることを特徴とする、ジュウジバナ属に属する植 物。
- 14.核ゲノムが請求項9に記載のゲノムとその発現及び翻訳植物のミトコンド リア中への運搬を行う因子とを含んでなることを特徴とする、ジュウジバナ属に 属する植物。
- 15.ブラシカ・ナプス種に属する、請求項13に記載の植物。
- 16.ブラシカ・オレラセア種に属する、請求項13に記載の植物。
- 17.ブラシカ・カムペストリス種に属する、請求項13に記載の植物。
- 18.ブラシカ・ジュンセア種に属する、請求項13に記載の植物。
- 19.ブラシカ・ニグラ種に属する、請求項13に記載の植物。
- 20.ブラシカ・ヒル夕種に属する、請求項13に記載の植物。
- 21.ブラシカ・カリナタ種に属する、請求項13に記載の植物。
- 22.B.ナプス、B.オレラセア、B.カムペストリス、B.ニグラ、B.ジ ュンセア、B.ヒルタ及びB.カリナタのいずれかに属する、請求項14に記載 の植物。
- 23.プロトプラスト融合により得られる、請求項13〜22のいずれか一項に 記載の植物。
- 24.有性生殖により得られる、請求項13〜22のいずれか一項に記載の植物 。
- 25.ミトコンドリア中への遺伝子導入により得られる、請求項13〜21のい ずれか一項に記載の植物。
- 26.請求項13〜25のいずれか一項に記載の雄性不稔性細胞質形質を有する 植物を、稔性回復遺伝子Rf1を適宜的有する同種の植物と交配させることを特 徴とする、ハイブリッド植物の調製方法。
- 27.請求項26に記載の方法により得られるハイブリッド植物。
- 28.放射性又は非放射性手段により標識された、図1で示されるヌクレオチド NO.928〜1569で画される配列の少くとも10塩基の配列を含むことを 特徴とする、DNAプローブ。
