Description
Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Imidazolins. Gegenstand des vorliegenden Patentes ist ein Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Imidazolins, welches dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man in einer Verbindung der Formel

worin R einen durch Hydrolyse in eine Oxy- gruppe überführbaren Rest bedeutet, diesen durch Hydrolyse in eine solche überführt.
Das erhaltene 2- [N,N- (p,p'-Dioxy-di- phenyl)-amino-methyl]-imidazolin ist neu. Es bildet leicht Salze mit anorganischen oder organischen Säuren, z. B. mit Halogenwasser- stoffsäuren, wie der Salzsäure, mit Schwefel säure, Phosphorsäure, Methansulfosäure oder Toluolsulfosäure, Essigsäure und dergleichen, so z. B. ein salzsaures Salz vom Schmelzpunkt 227 bis 230 C.
Das neue Imidazolin zeigt sy mpathicoly- tische Wirkung und soll als Heilmittel Ver wendung finden.
<I>Beispiel.:</I> 50 Teile 2-[N,N-(p,p'-Dimethoxy-diphenyl)- amino-methyl] -imidazolin-hydrochlorid (her gestellt aus p,p'-Dimethoxy-diphenyl-amin und 2-Chlormethyl-imidazolin-hydrochlorid) werden in 700 Teilen o-Diehlor-benzol suspen diert., und unter Rühren und Erhitzen auf 150 wird während 12 Stunden ein Strom von trockenem Salzsäuregas durchgeleitet. Nach dem Erkalten wird vom Lösungsmittel abge gossen und der Rückstand aus Alkohol-Essig- ester umkristallisiert.
Man erhält. so das 2- [N,N - (p,p'-Dioxy-diphenyl)-amino-methyl]- imidazolin-hydrochlorid vom Schmelzpunkt 227 bis 230 . Es besitzt die Formel

Claims (1)
- PATENTANSPRUCH: Verfahren zur Herstellung eines neuen Imidazolins, dadurch gekennzeichnet, dass man in einer Verbindung der Formel EMI0001.0036 worin R. einen durch Hydrolyse in eine Oxy- gruppe überführbaren Rest bedeutet, diesen durch Hydrolyse in eine solche überführt. Das so erhaltene 2-[N,N-(p,p'-Dioxy-di- phenyl)-amino-methylJ-imidazolin ist neu. Es bildet ein salzsaures Salz vom Schmelzpunkt <B>227</B> bis 230 .Das neue Imidazolin zeigt sympathicoly- tische Wirkung und soll als Heilmittel Ver- ivendung finden.
